Coast of Dalmatia

Itinerary: Under assumption that the slides are sorted according to the order of taking the photographs / chronologically, one can construct a conjenctural itinerary of the journey:

Ostende - (train) - Vienna - (train) - Trieste - (ship) - Kotor/Cattaro - (coach) - Cetinje/Cettigne - (coach) - Kotor/Cattaro - (ship) - Perast/Perasto - Hercegnovi/Castelnuovo - Cavtat/Ragusa Vecchia - Dubrovnik/Ragusa - (coach) - Trsteno/Canossa - (coach) - Dubrovnik/Ragusa - (ship) - Lokrum/Lacroma - (ship) - Dubrovnik/Ragusa - (ship) -Korcula/Curzola (?) - (ship) - Komiza/Comisa (on the island of Vis/Issa) - (ship) - Hvar/Lesina - (ship) - Milna (on the island of Brac/ Brazza) - (ship) - Split/Spalato - (coach) - Trogir/Trau - (coach) - Solin/Salona - (coach) - Split/Spalato - (ship) - Makarska/Macarsca - (ship) - Metkovic - (train, coach?) - Mostar - (coach) - Buna/ Blagaj - (coach) - Mostar - (train) - (Konjic, Sarajevo) - Travnik - (train) - Jajce - (coach) - Banja Luka - (train) - Zagreb - (train) - Vienna - (train) - Ostende.

Note: Between Sarajevo and Busovaca (NW of Sarajevo, on the route to Travnik), the road and railroad follow separate routes (approximatelly parallel, but at about 10 km distance). That can be easily distinguished on the map “Coast of Dalmatia', and, if the authors bothered about such details, their itinerary followed the railroad trail. Thus, our original assumption of travel by railroad from at least Mostar to Jajce, still holds.

Itinerary: Segmented according to the means of travel:
