Map 02 - Kotor and surroundings

A serpentine road climbing up the Lovcen mountain, from Kotor to eanjev Do, Njeguoi and further to Cetinje/Cettigne. The road Kotor-Cetinje (38 miles) was built by the Austrians 1876-1881.

View from the part of the road above serpentines, down towards SW. At the time the photograph was taken, the shown part of the road was in Dalmatia (Austro-Hungarian Monarchy). Very frequently photographed. A modern road follows the same trail.
