Dalmatia Narrow Street Spalato
Area within the walls of the former Diocletian's Palace: Former Cardo Maximus (N-S street) in the Diocletian's palace, narrowed by the medieval buildings (today: Diocletian street).
Photo was taken from the point just beyond Porta Aurea/Golden Gate - northern gate of the Palace - towards S-SE (towards Peristil Square).
This street is usually photographed from its southern end (at Peristil) towards north, and the farther view is blocked by that ogival arch (supporting a building that crosses the street) seen in deep background of this slide.
