Master Radovan inscribed a message to the future: poorly translated it reads 'This porch is built by Radovan, best of all in this art, as testified by sculptures and reliefs, in the year 1240 after the birthgiving of Holy Virgin, during bishopric of Tuscanian Treguan, from Florence'
