Hotel 'Narenta' (Neretva) on the left bank of Neretva, viewed from the right bank, along the Franz Josef bridge. Hotel is a large building on the left-hand side. The Franz Josef bridge was the second bridge over Neretva (1882), and on the left bank it enters into the Musala square. On the opposite side of Musala square a Cose Jahja-hadzi (pronounced: Cho-say Yahya-Hajji) Mosque (before 1620, with minaret) is seen, and on the right-hand side there is a building of Business School, built before 1890.

Hotel Narenta/Neretva was built in 1891/92, as the first modern hotel in town. Burnt during recent war. Franz Josef bridge was the iron bridge opened in November 1882, largely reconstructed in 1888, rebuilt as reinforced-concrete bridge in 1935/36, and destroyed on 29/30 May 1992.
