Service User Group


The HILT service user group helped HILT do a survey. The survey was to find out what service users thought about HILT and how HILT could get better.

They first worked with Sarah – deciding on the questions to ask people. They then asked service users if they wanted to talk in a group or on their own. The service user group helped to ask the questions. They were glad to do it because they were helping people have their voice heard and helping change HILT to become what people want.

New staff


Hilt’s Service Manager for Housing is now Sade Kaur. She has taken over from Jane Looker who has left Hilt.

Richard Brattan started in April as Hilt’s new Co-ordinator. He takes over from Alison Bell.

We are very pleased that one of Hilt’s service users has started work as a part-time admin assistant and the Hilt Central office.

Security


The central office has installed a new CCTV system. This allows the admin staff to see who they are opening the front door to when the buzzer is pressed. The number of thefts from the premises is already down!
