SWISS HOLIDAY

Gillian from Bethune Road took a long weekend in Switzerland, where she bought herself an original Swiss cuckoo clock. Sam, the Bethune Road manager, went with Gillian and they stayed in a hotel on the Swiss/French boarder. The weather was excellent and both Gillian and Sam had a great time.






DAY TRIP TO BRIGHTON

On 9 September Patrick, Donna and Maureen from Albion Drive took a day trip to Brighton with three support workers. They caught a mini-cab to London Bridge and then the train. They ate lunch and dinner out and spent a lot of the day sitting on the beach and enjoying the good weather. They also made some new friends.


STAFF CHANGES

Lots of new staff have come into post over the past few months:

  • Sade Kur, Service Manager for Housing, is now on maternity leave. Ray Hill is covering for Sade.

  • The Acting Deputy Manager ( part-time) for the Outreach team is Gabrielle Prince.

  • Yvette Gerald has taken on the post of acting deputy manager at Rotheley whilst Dionne Burke is on maternity leave.
  • Alan Weekes is the New Senior Support Worker at Lower Clapton Flat 1.
  • The Occupational Team now has two extra staff: Inga Tilere and Claire Griffiths.
  • David Wileman has joined Downs Park Road as a support worker.
  • Andy McElroy has joined Evering Road as a support worker.
  • At Albion Drive Mary Amooh is now a temporary senior support worker and Lauri Thompson has joined as support worker.
  • Victoria Adigwe and Wendy Debolette have joined Seagrave as support workers.


HOUSE CLOSURE

Listria closed and the remaining service user and two members of staff moved to nearby Wilderton.
