Claire Hear the story here ?
"My name is Claire and I have been living in my house since December 1998.
Before I came to Hilt I lived in a hostel in Finsbury Park with a lot of other people. Staff were busy and you had to tell them when you were going out. There wasn't much time to do any personal shopping and clothes often got mixed up in the laundry.
In December I moved into my new house in Hackney, where Irma already lived. It's nice to live here. We have two volunteers supporting us in cooking, going out shopping, going out for coffee etc. Sometimes we have parties here or go out for dinner in other service users' homes. This year I went on holiday with an old volunteer, Susan. We went to Kos. It was a great trip - hot but nice, and I brought presents back for all at home".

When I stroke him he looks up at me. I feed him with food from the cupboard; Geoff helps me buy the food. He's a lovely cat, he likes to go out and meet a girl cat to have babies. He's called Ebony. Once there was blood in the kitchen, some cat had hurt my Ebony, I wiped the blood up.
