The Ukrainians have shot down all our fighter aircraft. We have almost been pushed out of the Crimea. Things are bad.
The Ukrainian High Command has decided to concentrate all its firepower on our one remaining airbase at Sevastopol. We have our air defence forces and the Black Sea Fleet as the only defenders.
Your aim is to set up an air defence net as efficiently as possible. Units may be placed at just three locations:
1. Sevastopol Inlet and its shores
2. Sevastopol Airbase
3. Sevastopol Naval Harbour
You are deemed to have lost the mission if the Ukrainians managed to knock out the A-50 AWACS parked at the airbase.
To be honest - I haven't managed to stop them yet! I have been trying to build a defence net for under 500 points. No luck. There is a Mig-27 that sneaks over a hilltop and launches a Kh-29 that I just can't stop. The LGBs that the Su-24s drop aren't too hard - a couple of Shilkas will take care of them. If you can do any better, send me your MIS and TRK files!
