RESG membership (free to BCS members and affiliates) brings the newsletter to members the world over, and many interesting talks and meetings in Britain.
 
IIBA
The International Institute of Business Analysis is an association for business analysts, people who work on requirements and software typically for commercial and financial applications.
 
INCOSE
The International Council on Systems Engineering has an extensive website with much of interest to requirements engineers. There are numerous special interest groups and events in different countries including Britain, where industry, government, and academics can share knowledge. There are many resources available online.
 
Software Engineering Institute (USA)
"The SEI is a federally funded research and development center established in 1984 by Congress with a broad charter to address the transition of software engineering technology."
The SEI is responsible for the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) which describes how businesses should conduct software development. A key practice in the CMM is Requirements Engineering.
