You may well ask.

For the past 26 years and three months I have been taking pictures that other people have wanted me to take, working for the Birmingham Post & Mail newspapers in the U.K. I have worked under three different picture editors in this time all with different views on newspaper photography and the images you find on this site have been taken during the first 25 years of working for the P&M.

I think the site is probably more about me than I realise, showing the wide and varied life my job has allowed me, with glimpses of events and people that most folk will never experience, and apart from that, this is the cheapest way I can see of putting together an exhibition.

Enough of the crap......it really is just an exhibition of my pictures!
