Communications masts are now a widespread feature of the modern landscape. Few, however, make any attempt to contribute towards their surroundings. Cosmetic attention tends to centre on camoflauge rather than statement. In this case, however, leading third generation mobile communictions provider Three, envisaged boldly sculptural masts in each of the United Kingdom's reigons. Campbell Park, Central Milton Keynes provided an ideal setting for one of these, with it's undulating landscape of mature vegetation. Since it's conception, Campbell Park has been punctuated with unique spaces and special features, to great effect. |
