Entry to a competition hosted by Sylvania to design a unit for their 'ES50' miniature halogen bulb.
Unlike the vast majority of compact tungsten halogen bulbs, this unit dose not require a transformer.

A tripod using flexible legs & a die cast alloy body was devised. This unit could positioned in a variety of ways, either free- standing or clinging to various fixtures and fixings.
