BOOG is...

BOOG Ltd, a computer club with a widespread membership, a monthly(ish) journal and occasional meetings.

It was formed from the British Osborne Owners Group, enthusiasts for the first portable computer, the Osborne 01, a sewing-machine sized box designed by Adam Osborne and supplied with an attractive CP/M software bundle.

Times change, and most of our members use PCs and MS-DOS - even Windows.
Now we are investigating BOOG Online and the BOOG discussion list as a more modern, immediate and cost-effective way of continuing the mutual assistance provided by our meetings, journal and telephone support.
