FileSpec on start-up
Normally when starting XTree Gold the Filespec is set automatically to *.*, i.e. all files will be displayed. There is, however, a command line switch, /ZF, which starts XTree with Filespec set to the last entry listed in the Filespec History. I find that my XTree has now developed the annoying habit of starting in this mode, even though I do not issue this switch.
Maybe I should re-install XTree to cure this. In the meantime, it seems that the only way to prevent this behaviour is to ensure that the last Filespec is *.*. It is not enough to set the current value to *.* by the usual method of keying F ; I have to key F *.* to ensure that this is entered into the History. Once there, it can be selected in the usual way with the up-arrow as an alternative to typing *.*.
