Galletti returned after the fall of Glann
Cipple stayed with Caarling for a
while before setting up his new home with his lover Toni Meera. (RPG) Caisin, Flight Officer Roth - Roth Caisin was an able pilot. Originally a smuggler and ship thief, Caisin was recruited by Nias

into the Academy. Impressing the
right people, Calcavera was soon drafted into the elite Squadron Indigo. As a young man on Escall he
flew Skyhoppers and knew his destiny was fighting against
the Empire. Aaron once had a steady
girlfriend, Maxia K’Tenn, but she was killed during a mission in
her own X-Wing, protecting Y-Wings on a bombing raid

Son of Patron and brother of Grippy, Grabby was the owner of Grabby’s
Gunshop (Level 11, Northside, Unit
1181) in the Chancai Trade Centre on
Zelon. A short, grubby man who always smoked a cigar, Grabby was well
known throughout the sector for his huge wealth of expertise on handheld
weaponry and his ability to spin a good yarn. Cap was often involved in the
affairs of many members of the Setnin underworld, including many who worked
for Glann Cipple.
But not exclusively – Cap sold to and upgraded weapons for anyone who
entered his premises and was known as a man who worked for all. (SeD/GD/JLSA/TCO/EVP/TTSS/COB/RBH/ThA/RPG) Cap, Grippy – Younger
brother of Grabby and son of Patron. (RPG) Cap, Patron – Father of
Grabby and Grippy Cap and a man
known throughout the pre-Empire underworld as a major expert on
weaponry. Transported to the world of
Zelon in an effort to escape his pursuers and

weapons shop in the Chancai

later passed down to his eldest son Grabby.
(RPG) Card, Ornul – Warehouse

the New Republic ship Moz'a'ti and the pirate ship Blackwing. Carlon worked in the sector during the Ki-Ki/Setnin War and was aboard the Euphoria Station when it was taken by overwhelming Ki-Ki
forces. (LR/LB/BIB) Carmen, Jedi Knight – Janite born Jedi Knight who lived aboard the massive, ten-kilometre diameter Worldship the Rinsome. (TWa) Carrn, Offexx –
Entallian trader who did a run with Jan Lomona a decade
before and didn’t see the A-desandian smuggler again until they
met in a warehouse gambling den on Escall some ten years
later. Offexx died in the explosions
that tore the world of Escall apart. (WLW) Cart - Rodian friend of Arach Raynor who lived on
the world of Wennicas and traded in and around the city of Haipspa. (QC) Carter, Blaine–
Male human gun-for-hire who operated on the fringes of the Setnin Sector in his ship the Runaway. Carter was notable for his use of a
multitude of weapons including a Lightsabre.
Carter eventually came to an end when he became mixed up in a hunt of
the bounty hunter Tarr Ranth – Carter double-crossing a female bank
robber called Irri Darr and then being outmanoeuvred himself by
Ranth. (OPM/RPG) Cass, Lieutenant Commander - Ecaps City born member of
the A-desandian fighter squadron who protected the city of Ecaps from the Imperial onslaught brought by the arrival of Lando Calrissian. Later to join the Rebellion, Cass became call sign I-Three, a proud member of Squadron Indigo, the Setnin Sectors own rebel alliance X-Wing fighter squadron, and was their longest serving member. Cass joined his fellow Indigo members when
they defected to the side of the Setnin Defence Force
during the Ki-Ki/Setnin War. (QFF/WPCS/SSAO) Cathum, Fleet Commander - Atheus' loyal captain, Cathum
served the new Prime Lord in the belief that he was the strong leader that the Ki-Ki
Sector needed, but soon now
regretted his decision. (FOV/CMR/SPLL/PAS/CF/StP) Cazinski, Colonel - A member of Peach Squadron, an infamous
bunch of Rebel Alliance screw-ups who wreaked havoc throughout the
local sectors. Using guile and
intelligence, blind luck and fate they invariably stole starships and ran Imperial blockades, dodging Star
Destroyers, before continuing on
their adventures. Peach Squadron
missions included the attempt to destroy AT-ST’s on a military
research base located on a moon. When
the base couldn’t be destroyed they destroyed the moon instead. A known associate of Bazillicon Doron, Yavin, Brodin and Twana Cazinski was trapped
in Amagad City for three days on the order of an angry Glann Cipple whilst being hunted down by Carlonian
Feese, Goah Galletti, Jan Lomona and Ryath Centaur. (FGR/RPG) CB-2 – Small modified power droid who worked
aboard Nias Derril’s starship, the Freedom Flyer. (SOT) Centaur, Paige
– Formerly Paige
Retgarr-Lomona and daughter
of Jan Lomona and the bar owner Saah Retgarr and wife of Ryath Centaur.
Paige left her home aboard the Livill Station after her
mother died of Evitarr Syndrome and struck out to find her natural
father. After two years searching
Paige finally found Jan on Amagad, and joined him on his mission to Abrogard. Occasionally joining her
father on missions, Paige finally left A-desando just prior to Frans Latka splitting up with her father.
Accepting his offer, Paige became Romanoe’s chief engineer on
Chancai and later assisted Arr
Sharn in his work aboard the Euphoria Station. Year’s later Paige fell
unexpectedly in love with her father’s friend Ryath Centaur and the two
of them married. Devastated at the
apparent loss of her father in a hyperspace accident, Paige was overcome with
joy when Jan returned ten years after from his time across the other side of
the galaxy. In his absence, Paige
inherited the Euphoria
Station from Luschia Arkensaw and co-ran the TTTC, making it a profitable, legitimate concern. A successful businesswoman, Paige was the
link between the TTTC and her husband’s mercenary group the Iron Claws. Tall like all A-desandian
women, Paige had a sharp sense of humour and a swift mind. (JLSA/QFF/JLC4/TD/RBH/WPCS/ThM/RPG) Centaur, Colonel Ryath– Former Imperial
Biker Scout and colonel in the Emperors 21st Blue Star Riders.
Born on the world of Sapphire, Ryath Rai Centaur soon enlisted in the
Imperial army along with his younger brother Torath and was soon rising
through the ranks, making sergeant while posted to Entall. He married his fiancée Sarra and successful engagements followed with criminals and a nascent
rebel opposition falling before him before his posting to Durathosin. It was here that a rebel cell executed Torath and Colonel Pillot betrayed him. Disillusioned
with the service and cheated on by Sarra, he elected to go AWOL and hunt down
his brother’s killers, primarily Pillot Alvarna. For years he tracked down the men on that list, sometime using
the alias of Yorath Devalis.
Becoming friends with Jan Lomona, Goah
Galletti, Newell Arrithat, and
a known acquaintance of
Tarr Ranth Centaur helped out the Rebel Alliance, though strictly for his own ends, and worked for Glann Cipple as a mercenary on a handful of occasions. He entered into a seven-year relationship with a Zelonian woman by the name of Clara and with her at his side founded the Iron Claw mercenary unit, which he based on Hellion. After a surprise defeat at the hands of a
well-organised rogue Imperial faction and the loss of the original Thunderchild, Centaur wearily handed over control of the Iron Claws to his great
friend Saul Davlon.
Appalled with the chaos and ruin that followed the fall of the Galactic
Empire, Colonel Ryath Centaur worked for the remnants of Imperial
Security before finally leaving the Empire behind and returning to lead the
Iron Claws following the death of Saul Davlon. After finally laying the demons of his past to rest with the
execution of his long-time enemy Pillot, Centaur still plied a good trade as
a mercenary in his starship the Thunderchild
II. Centaur was seen less and less in the Mid-Rim as he expanded his
interests elsewhere, but was drawn back to the sector when he fell
unexpectedly in love with Jan Lomona’s daughter Paige. During the Ki-Ki/Setnin War Centaur
became a figure of huge influence; given the rank of Colonel he assisted in
the formation of the unified Setnin
Defence Force and used the
Iron Claws in conjunction with the Trac-Tran Transit Company of Jan Lomona and Squadron
Indigo to strike at the
Ki-Ki, and with his vast fleet, temporarily bolstered by the addition of Daemon Garr’s Raven Corporation vessels before their defection to the
Ki-Ki, he caused consternation to the enemy. (HP/FATE/TLR/SOL/BE/RS/DI/BR/FGR/DC/JLSA/BOP/SOT/100/AITF/OBN/SM/FW/ BoE/TES/MOM/NMD/RAR/TTH/FOG/PS/POH/TD/IIFM/RBH/EM/ThH/WPCS/ThM/ FC/CF/AAP/TDDP/BOB/SSAO/RPG) Centaur, Sarra - Ex-wife of Ryath Centaur who slept
with his treacherous superior Pillot
Alvarna and then left Ryath after
the death of his brother Torath. Marrying Pillot she led a miserable life of
physical and mental abuse only ending with Pillot’s death at the hands of her
former husband. She returned to her
homeworld of Sapphire and a life of anonymity. (FATE) Centaur, Torath
- Younger brother of the Imperial biker scout-turned-mercenary Ryath Centaur. Torath was a proud soldier
in the Emperors 21st
Blue Star Riders, an elite biker
squad sent to deal with the rebel uprising on Durathosin. It was there that Torath was captured and
executed as a warning to other trespassers.
(FATE/ NHPW) Ch’tee, Yuro –
New Republic representative from the world of A-Desando. (RPG) Chael - Ferrerean Warrior and a
passenger on the Imperial shuttle bound for Alorea VI that crash landed on Alorea, killing all 20 human
occupants. Along with his fellow
warriors Nant, Ell and Dapsbie he attacked the Rebel team sent to Alorea to kill them.
Chael was incinerated in the afterburner blast caused by the escaping
Rebel shuttle. (FW/RPG) Changas – Ki-Ki Sector trooper who entered the Dark Star III to apprehend Tarr Ranth, just as Ranth activated a thermal
detonator and destroyed the ship; saving the information he had gathered
falling into Ki-Ki hands. (TLB) Chatroot - Leader of the legendary renegade team Chatroot and the Howlrunners and owner of the Salura Star. Many tales of
Chatroot were lost to the mists of time, and in the public mind he became a
figure of mythical proportions, a prophet-like figure whose stories became
apocryphal. The Salura Star and the
Howlrunners were indeed legendary, saving races and fighting for causes
throughout the Mid-Rim until they elected to be buried beneath
the sands of Clayboss.
Three thousand years later and freed from their self-imposed
hibernation by the actions of Jan
Lomona and Goah Galletti, the Howlrunners were once again free to
help the weak and oppressed. But as
time would soon reveal, Chatroot was not the man the myths painted him out to
be… (DOG/ROTH/CATH/NU) Chaves - A human male with long red hair and
green eyes whom on occasion worked for Dressel in the Marell and Cawbate systems.
Hiring himself out as a warrior, Chaves profited well. (RPG) Chenk, Pollyanna –
Female citizen of the Setnin
Sector who worked as a Salvage Location Contractor.
Pollyanna, with her unkempt ponytails and abrasive manner, was the
woman who located the Shadow
of the Phoenix on the planet
Repusub, the world where the clone Galletti met his death, and brought it to Coruscant for the real Galletti’s son Drate. Pollyanna became Drate’s co-pilot and
confidante, and also the object of his affection despite her being
married. (BTSS/WTP/BIB) Chesco, Larna – (See Larna) Chesco, Ovvree – Black-haired and moustachioed husband of
Larna, the ex-employee of the Trac-Tran
Transit Company. Living for a while in the city of Chancai on Zelon, Chesco and Larna eventually relocated to
her homeworld of Marner. Living a quiet life near the Matuubii ruins Chesco regularly travelled away on business trips for weeks at
a time, leaving his wife to entertain herself. (ADIL/TFS) Chortak – Ruthless and determined, this Rodian hunter never gave up on a hunt, even when it was over. On more than one occasion when bounties
had been withdrawn did Chortak return with an unfortunate person’s head in an
ornately carved box. Addicted to DL-8, this Rodian knew that he didn’t have much time left. (RPG) Cipple, Bella - A-desandian female ex-smuggler who often ran
with fellow smuggler Lale to Tatooine. The wife of Glann Cipple, Bella had a short romantic liaison with Jan Lomona whilst also
having a crush on the assassin Goah
Galletti. Forthright and opinionated, Bella was never afraid to speak her
mind to her husband, a position unfamiliar to almost every other living
creature. After giving him two
daughters, Bessa and Brea, Bella left Glann after he sold out to the Empire during the business concerning the discovery of the starship Heed and its impact into the Bay
of Amagad. Taking their daughter Brea with her, she
journeyed home to A-desando and eventually on to Chancai where they stayed
with Trace Dallagra until her eventual death from a broken
heart.
(LDT/LBT/JLSA/BOP/RoN/FOG/RPG) Cipple, Bessa - First daughter of the marriage between Glann Cipple and his wife Bella and sister of Brea. Immediately sent away to the distant world
of Klaem to protect her from kidnapping attempts, Bessa was brought up by
nannies and minders. At the young age
of five, and maturing at an accelerated rate due to the mixture of her
fathers and mothers alien DNA's, Bessa was kidnapped by agents of the
ganglord Predd Jason but swiftly rescued. Years later after the disappearance of her
father Bessa took his place and ruled with an iron fist, inflaming the third Gang War and along with her sister Brea becoming a potent force in the Setnin
underworld once again. (AV/WGA/FVS/BIB/NHP) Cipple, Brea– Daughter of Glann and Bella Cipple and sister of Bessa.
Born on the fourth floor of Glann’s City Fortress, Brea left Amagad with her mother when Glann betrayed his employees to the Empire and skipped the Setnin
Sector. She later returned and joined her sister and together they
reclaimed Glann’s old Fortress and made it their base of operations, building
a new Cipple organisation and becoming a force to be reckoned with once again
during the Ki-Ki War.
(FOG/WGA/FVS/BIB/NHP) Cipple, Glann–
The most prominent
gangleader in
Setnin Sector history. Once the leader of the travelling race the Muyaden, Cipple came into the Setnin Sector from the world of Klaem in the Corb Sector fifty-five years before the Battle of Yavin after betraying his people to the ancient
alien Longbody.
Making a name for himself working as a smuggler for the Setnin Sectors
then major crime boss Duze Jostenn, Cipple soon hooked up with fellow
operators Dressel, Riger and Dessio D’Staan. With Cipple
occasionally using the pseudonym of Mister
Gold the quartet made significant
inroads into building a new crime syndicate, with runs into the Core. Later joined by Anzai Karoo, the group challenged Jostenn’s lofty position. For twelve years they built their
powerbase until Cipple had a secret affair with D’Staan’s wife Jeriah. A day after the birth of their child Armella, D’Staan
left the sector with his family and headed for the Core, taking details of
the lucrative Core Runs with him.
Having plunged all their money into the Core runs Cipple, Dressel and
Riger conspired to sell out Luschia
Arkensaws Jedi family to the Empire for a million credits. Riger
disappeared under mysterious circumstances and after paying off Karoo, Cipple
and Dressel continued their partnership for a brief time but after a massive
altercation they went their separate ways – Cipple to Amagad and Dressel to Cawbate.
Cipple decided to begin hiring trusted agents, taking Duze Jostenns Mon Calamarian assassin Carlonian Feese. Feese had made his presence known by
assassinating his own employer Jostenn after Cipple and Jostenn had entered into
a business partnership. Cipple
decided that to legitimise his public image he would run for the governorship
of Amagad City, which he won with the assistance of
chief justice Garris
Tarainnew and local Imperial General Kriner.
Before long Cipple made himself master of the Setnin underworld, much
to the consternation of Dressel and Grand
Moff Treece. Remaining governor for twenty-four years,
Cipple saw off Gang Wars and various challenges on his
position. Glann hired such operators
as Jan Lomona and Goah Galletti and fell in
love with one of his smugglers, Bella with whom he had two daughters, Bessa and Brea.
Cipple rarely left the luxurious confines of his Mount Fava Fortress, preferring to work on genetic
experiments like the Coryarthinax, the clone of Goah Galletti and
the Hunter Killer Lawkeeper project in locations as diverse as his
Fortress and the Euphoria
Station - fieldwork was left
to his many agents. After the fall of
the Empire at Endor Cipple faced other challenges – two Gang Wars followed, despite Cipple having many of his opponents
eliminated. His first fall came after
the discovery of the legendary Starship Heed. Upon selling it to Admiral Korne Lans the ship was sabotaged by mercenary Luschia Arkensaw. Certain of betrayal Lans
levelled Amagad City, but only after the Heed had crashed into the Bay of Amagad and flattened the city with a tidal wave. Leaving Amagad with Carlonian Feese, Cipple lost his wife,
newborn daughter, his business and the respect that he had so carefully built
over the past forty years. His
whereabouts were unknown until he resurfaced seven years later, working
alongside Zobian Pirates and the Bedois dark force user Arcc Nedeen in a plan to invade and take the Setnin Sector by brute force. Cipple was ultimately located by the
bounty hunter Queed and brought to the world of Trefnare
where he had a final meeting with Dressel, Anzai Karoo and Queed/Riger. Dressel, Karoo and Queed died, leaving
Cipple as the only surviving member of the Happy Contrivers –
until his nemesis Longbody appeared from the shadows just as he had promised
decades before and took Glann away to meet his destiny. Despite his treacherous betrayal of his
former employees and colleagues, and despite working on the fringes of
civilised society, Glann Cipple had a massive hand in shaping the destiny of
the entire Setnin Sector. (EP/DIS/TR/RTS/SF/FBB/BE/RS/AK/DI/FGR/EWS/LBT/JLSA/DD/SC/TTE/TOTW/RoN/TCO/ RE/TTC/DOG/HK/AV/TTH/COTS/CDC/FOG/NTR/ReN/NU/RPG) Cipple, Guta – Father of Glann
Cipple and leader of the
peaceful travelling race the Muyaden.
Guta handed over leadership of the Muyaden to his son at the age of
fifteen. Glann led their race into
death and destruction at the hands of Longbody, all in
order to save the younger Cipples hide.
(ReN) Clar - Twi'lek clerk at the Hotel Amagad Landing Station. Brusque and arrogant, Clar soon lightened
up when he realised that he was dealing with the infamous law enforcer Arroth Quenn.
(HH) Clara – (See Ilken,
Clara) Clarella - Ex-smuggler for Glann Cipple and later Trace Dallagras assistant in her offices on Chancai. A proficient smuggler and
pilot, Clarella had been required on more than one occasion to get Trace out
of sticky situations fast – a job she carried out with distinction. (RPG) Cliver – One of the
nine men who were with Pillot when he was ambushed by Ryath Centaur and Tarr Ranth. (NMD) Coal, Taf’he - Duros trader with a dislike for
non-Duros, but willing to help other beings - for an inflated price. (RPG) Coax – War
veteran who travelled around the Mid-Rim. Coax fought in many wars
and gained many badges of honour. An
old and confused man Coax journeyed around, remembering battlefields and
sites of old victories – all of which was written down in ledgers he carried
in his tattered holdall. (RPG) Coli, Lowga - Male Rodian
mercenary who tried to get his friend Kydda back into the
bounty hunting profession. (RPG) Comobeb the Callous –
Powerful underworld figure who ran many operations throughout the Mid and Outer Rims.
One such operation ran on Heggarra, where a
lieutenant Hal Hallarn ran the vicious and profitable death pits. (TES) Conno, Captain - Pockmarked former first officer aboard
the New Republic ship Tempestuous under Captain Jank Hooley.
Later promoted to the Moz'a'ti, Conno came into contact with his former
captain when his ship was attacked by a pirate and brought into the Leogard Spacestation where Hooley ran a bar. Conno later rescinded his position in the Galactic Alliance and took command of the Setnin warship The
Determined, leading her in
to the fatal battle against Ki-Ki forces as they swept through Setnin
lines. (LR/TSP) Cotta, Driss
- This focused Duros swoop
racer was a tunnel-visioned rider
with a point to prove - Duros could ride with the best of them. A close friend of Skeet Jonas and Governor Emag Retsam, Driss later wound up winning the Tatooine Ten Thousand – with Skeet’s help. A constant on the circuit, Driss raced
hard, staying at the top of the game for many years. (DOY/BaR/SOP/AHEW/RPG) Coul, N'dee - Tall, white-haired human woman who ran
the dome on Digger Central, a station on the edge of the Cawbate Planetoid Field. Coul did a lot of physical work and had
muscles like steel cables although she still managed to retain some of her
figure. Very friendly, in a rough
sort of way. (RPG) Courier, The – Cyborg-implanted operative of the Raven Corporation. Trusted with high security missions and data retrieval, The Courier refused to reveal his true name and would self-destruct rather than be captured. A specialist investigator, he tracked down the missing ISD Constance and revealed the on-board spy. He was also an expert slicer and a Capital Ship security specialist. (THR) Cowek – Tall, well
dressed professor of Xeno history based on the world of Chancai. Formerly working on Janite history, Cowek was brought on board the Infinite Challenger to decrypt the writings scrawled along
the discoveries within the Foron
Dustcloud. (FFD) Cravo the
Hutt – Huge and
hulking Hutt
gangster based on the Setnin world of Afagard, but with many ties to Nal Hutta, and to rival clan head Jabba the
Hutt. Always in regular business contact with Glann
Cipple, Cravo was a
reasonable Hutt to deal with and with his many varied avenues into the
underworld was well worth Cipples time and interest. Of advanced years, Cravo, like all Hutts,
had continued to physically expand and rarely left his adopted world of
Afagard, instead trusting his many operations to his underlings. Very few had seen Cravo in the flesh, but
Cipple was one. When Glann needed to
deal directly with the Hutt, Cravo came to Amagad. (LBT) Credill, Drax – Human colleague of Ahrkna Zo and an investigator interested in the destruction
of Gordal
Anunes starship. (ILIW)
Cree, Captain – Captain of
the Dawnrider, the Nebulon-S Fast Attack ship
used by the Setnin Jedi and based over the world of Rai. (ThA) Croom, Affin
- Boro Jakiras co-pilot, this Sullustian male flew the Screaming Moonbeam with pride. (RPG) Cruff, Del
- Arrogant and twisted human
pirate in the employ of Tralat Durge. Like many of his
colleagues, Cruff was against joining up with the Trac-Tran Transit Company. (AOR) Cuhtlal – A-desandian
born Basser Cadet, brother of Cynan and son of Salric. (BOW) Culdanatia the Second, Emperor
- The most forward thinking Emperor
Priest of recent times, Culdanatia
the Second opened the borders of Janos, allowing trade and contact with other
worlds - though not at expense of the holy Janos culture which he upheld. He
also united many of the fringe
clans together into the powerful Janos
Council. Hard-line and ruthless, Culdanatia the Second ruled with an
iron fist, a rule that was ended by an unexpected illness. Succeeded by his son, the spirit of this
Emperor Priest lived on through the actions of the Janos Executioners. (JLSA/SOT/ NHP) Culdanatia the Third, Emperor
- Son and successor of Culdanatia
the Second. Born under the name Acrupial, the new Emperor Priest presided over some of Janos’s most trying years - the war with Ferrerea, destruction of an
ancient temple by careless off-worlder Anzai Karoo and the declaration
of war on the entire Setnin
Sector. Whilst being as revolutionary as his father in his approach to
opening the Janos borders, Culdanatia the Third had far more obstacles to
deal with - including the invasion of his world by the Empire. By far his greatest
embarrassment came when he was required to journey to Coruscant and make a formally apologise for the Janos-Ferrerea War before
the entire Senate – a humiliation he bore for the rest of
his days. This Emperor Priest allowed
the Sith Holocron, held by the Janites for many years, to
be handed over to mysterious stranger a decade before the Battle of Naboo, but had the strength to resist the overtures of the Separatist Movement when it was offered to him by the
mysterious Count Dooku.
(JLSA/SOT/NHP) Cuthred - Janos
bolthrower who fought alongside Redd Garmich during the so-called
pacification of the island of Oronori on Janos. (WC) Cynan – A-desandian
born Basser Cadet, brother of Cuhtlal and son of Salric. (BOW) |
