Characters Guide - G
Gaalent - Spice merchant based on the
spice world of Gista, Gaalent was an old associate of the
free-trader Jan Lomona and sometime business partner of Glann Cipple. Thinking his galactic
importance to be somewhat more than it actually was Gaalent warned Lomona and
Cipple away from Gista, only to have Glann send the assassin Goah Galletti to the planet for a `friendly discussion’. (JLSA) Gabe, Governor Ocern - Old-time
smuggler and a member of the Ishi Tibb race, Ocern Gabe was present on the Breemarr Station when the Devlin’s Island incident went down. Formally
the owner of the starship Daknene, he later piloted a brand new freighter,
the Salern, and worked the safer lanes.
Used by Glann Cipple on occasion because of his vast knowledge
of the underworld, Gabe was once the primary smuggler employed by the
ganglord Duze Jostenn.
Once the co-pilot of Jan
Lomona and an employee of the Trac-Tran Transit Company, Gabe intended to retire many years ago
but his reputation persistently kept pulling back to the space-lanes. On the verge of retirement, Gabe accepted
the position of Governor of
Chancai, a lofty position that he
took with relish and vigour, even during the attack on the city by the
combined forces of Zobian Pirates,
Arcc Nedeen and Glann Cipple. Later Gabe became Governor of the Setnin Sector, signing the prestigious Re-intergration Treaty with the New Republic and
leading the sector during the war against the Ki-Ki Sector. Prepared to use his knowledge of the
underworld, and the ties he still had with them, he was at first opposed to
the election of Tannis Rixx as leader of the unified Setnin Defence Force, but later backed down ands saw the sense
in his election. After the fall of
Chancai, Gabe was taken as a political prisoner by the Ki-Ki, signing the
surrender treaty and leaving Trace
Dallagra in charge.
(SS/JLSA/SOD/TVH/HHE/TSP/TBF/LB/CM/EM/CFRPG) Gabearren
– Brother of Bennaren who was believed dead, cast
into the seven pits of hell.
In truth, Gabearren sold his soul to The Dark One, the
evil master of Setnin religious myth, who planned to use Gabe
as his instrument to ascend to the worlds above and take the stars. Upon the discovery of Gabearrens treachery
he confronted his brother, only to be reprimanded by The Dark One for
attacking his flesh and blood.
Unwilling to have his destiny chosen for him, and to spite his master,
Gabearren threw himself on his sword, ending The Dark Ones quest to escape
hell for another five hundred thousand years. (FaB) Galante - Not much was known about the controversial author of `The Diary of Galante’,
but observers safely surmised that Galante had excellent resources and
contacts and the uncanny knack of rooting out information about subjects he
surely shouldn’t have had access to.
(DOG) Galgen, Grand
Moff– Born on the world of Lebbat in the Brother Sector and
answerable directly to Emperor
Palpatine, Galgen was father of the
speeder bike racer Skeet Jonas.
Four years after Skeets birth, Galgen answered the call to join what was
to become the New Order and swiftly rose through the ranks. Appalled at her husbands neglect of his
family Skeets mother Fuida
Galgen-Jonas fled to Tatooine with her four year old son where she was eventually tracked down and
killed by the Bounty Hunter Queed, who’d been hired by Galgen to execute
her. Galgen didn’t find out that
Queed had spared Skeet’s life until many years later. Governor of Junduk IV and briefly Raca City before his rise to the rank of Grand Moff,
Galgen secretly used the talents of the Bedois alien dark force
user Arcc Nedeen, hoping to impress Imperial Centre enough
to give him a posting on Coruscant.
However, whilst Galgen was aware that Nedeen was a force-user, so did
his adversary Komag the Hutt who also employed Nedeen. Komag threatened to blackmail Galgen and
tell his Imperial superiors of the illegal use of a force user but failed to
do so before his own death. Although
Arcc Nedeen escaped, Galgens illegal use of a force user was revealed by Lieutenant Terrov and Galgen was taken back to Imperial Centre for
execution. (SOP/RPG) Galgen-Jonas, Fuida - Mother of the swoop racer Skeet Jonas and the wife of the future Grand
Moff Galgen. Despite living a life of comparative luxury on the central planet of
the Republic, Coruscant, Fuida was annoyed when her husband
Galgen joined what was to become the New
Order. Neglecting his family he was engulfed by duty and honour and
Fuida took her nine-year-old son to the Outer Rim world of Tatooine for a new start. However,
she didn’t foresee her scorned husband hiring out the bounty hunter Queed to track her down, which he did, killing Fuida but leaving young
Skeet alive. (RPG) Galindro – Gunman
and assassin who worked the Outer Rim Territories,
Galindro caused many problems for Jabba the Hutts then employee
Torona Formoon. As an
act of good will, and in order to persuade him to work for his organisation
again, Jabba had Galindro captured and carbon frozen to be sent to Formoon as
a gift. However, the pilot who was to
make the delivery, Jan Lomona, released Galindro, replacing him
with Goah Galletti and unleashing both Goahs fury on his enemy
Formoon, and Jabba’s fury on he and Galletti. Galindro returned to the Outer Rim to continue his work. (LRR/TTE) Galletti, Aayala– Wife of the youngest brother of the
Galletti clan Brush Galletti.
Born on Tictor, Aayala is a caring and considerate wife
to Brush, happy to live the lazy idyllic lifestyle that the young Trefnarian so loves on their adopted planet of Morb. (BB/NHP)
Galletti, Boah
- Double-crossing older brother of Goah Galletti and a
noted smuggler. Boah Galletti once double-crossed Jabba the Hutt and ended up with Boba
Fett on his trail for a brief time,
Fett mistaking Boah for his younger brother Goah. Father to Kessik, he was constantly on the run and a point
of embarrassment to both the genuine and clone Goah Galletti.
Boah was also a target of Ryath
Centaurs, appearing on the list he
compiled relating to the death of his own younger brother Torath. Despite his apathy towards
his brother, Goah stood up for his sibling against Centaur in a fierce
fight. (FDJH/BB) Galletti, Brush
- Younger brother of Goah
Galletti and a river boatsman on Morb. Brush upset some of his more
militant Trefnarian friends by marrying his Tictorian girlfriend Aayala, therefore denying himself the chance to live on his homeworld ever
again due to their strict policy of not contaminating their genetic gene pool
with the DNA of other races. (BB/NHP) Galletti, Drate
- Father of Goah Galletti.
A skilled carpenter on his home world of Trefnare in the town of Negarde, Drate was Father to five children, Hindley, Boah, Goah, Brush and Weale. Drate Galletti was killed by a colliding
asteroid whilst escaping Trefnare alongside his wife Gres Portacio-Galletti in their starship the Wooden Doll after the Empire invaded their world, believing
Trefnarians to be perfect genetic material for cloning. (NHP) Galletti, Drate - Son of the real Goah Galletti and
co-pilot of Pollyanna Chenk.
Named after his grandfather, Drate travelled to the Setnin Sector in the Shadow of the
Phoenix from his home in the Core Worlds to see where his father and relations originally came from. Although working for his fathers transport
company, young Drate liked the sector and decided to remain there, intent on
learning more about his fathers’ origins, the clones’ history and his own
heritage. Drate became embroiled in
the events of the Ki-Ki/Setnin
War, watching with interest
as the home of his fathers battled for independence. (BTSS/WTP/RBH/BIB) Goah Galletti Clone - Created
using technology that Glann
Cipple had in his possession
for many years, since his time with Dressel, D’Staan and
Riger the clone Galletti work for Cipple and replaced the real Galletti who
had relocated to the Core Worlds.
Stronger, faster and more ruthless the clone carried DNA from the
dreaded Coryarthinax creature After proving himself with his
first job on Trefnare he moved swiftly from smuggler work to
assassinations. The two men met for a
brief time on the ice planet Hoth, with neither of them truly believing
what they had seen. Moving up the
ranks of the Cipple organisation the clone Galletti was soon a feared agent
and alongside Carlonian Feese orchestrated many of Cipples
successes. This continued for almost
a decade until the clone of Goah succumbed to clone madness, detonating a
pack of explosives after an ambush by a squadron of Stormtroopers orchestrated
by Cipple in order to return the real Goah Galletti back to the sector. (TLTK/RS/ADIL/BR/FGR/DC/LBT/JLSA/BOP/SOT/100/AITF/LOH/WTSS/SC/TTE/LDJH/ JTS/TCOM/TKTS/TOTW/EOE/EsOE/FW/TOTV/WLW/BoE/ADW/RE/TTC/DOG/MOT/RF/ FBF/AV/BB/CBS/TTH/COTS/PDG/WCS/FOG/AE/WTP/RPG/NHP) Galletti, Goah
Real – Third born child of Drate and Gres Portacio-Galletti. Living in the town of Negarde with his brother’s Hindley,
Boah, Brush and his sister Weale Goah had a decent upbringing until the arrival of the Empire and its invasion of Trefnare. Fleeing in two starships, the Galletti
family escaped their homeworld – only for the starship Wooden Doll carrying his parents and younger sister Weale to crash into an
asteroid on the outskirts of the system. Goah stayed with his brother Hindley
for a while until he decided to make a life for himself and journeyed to Arrarat, where he was employed as a load-lifter. Here he met Tref Goodman and the two of them moved to Cantarr Bi Romou, enjoying a blissful, albeit brief marriage. It was here that ISD Malevolent Captain Terrov
took a fancy to Tref, and using his position of authority had Tref abducted
and taken to his quarters. When she
resisted his advances he had her killed.
Devastated, Galletti remained on Cantarr Bi Romou for a while,
eventually leaving and travelling to Amagad where he gained employment with Glann Cipple. Paired with the Chinngardian Mactin Selka, Galletti was soon making a name for
himself as a competent smuggler. Much
happened to Galletti over the next few years – he swapped his starship the Galaxion with Hindleys ship the Phoenix, lost Hindley to the Empire and did jobs
for Jabba the Hutt. But it was Glann Cipples interest in
cloning and genetics that would change Galletti’s life drastically. After offering Goah 100,000 credits for a
sample of his DNA, no questions asked, Cipple posted Goah to the Core Worlds and replaced him with a clone.
The real Goah sent regular information reports back to Glann for
almost a decade, occasionally travelling back under the guise of Mister Heeks, until in one of his last acts as leader
of the Setnin Sector underworld before his seven-year sojourn
from the sector, Cipple recalled the real Galletti from the Core Worlds. But it was to be an unfulfilling return to
the Setnin Sector, one that lasted for a few short years before Galletti
travelled back to the Core Worlds with his new love Toni Meera, telling only
his brothers Brush, Boah and his friends Jan Lomona and Luschia Arkensaw. A
friend of Jan and Ryath Centaur, the real
Goah Galletti had little chance of re-integrating himself into the life that
his defective clone had left behind.
Galletti died in the Core Worlds of natural causes during the Yuuzhan Vong invasion just prior to the Ki-Ki invasion of the Setnin Sector, leaving behind his
wife and teenage son Drate.
(FDJH/DSC/LOLD/JOJ/SR/LOH/TEST/WSOH/TMA/ROTH/RPG/NHP) Galletti, Gres
Portacio- - Goah Gallettis mother and wife of Drate Galletti. Mother to five children, Hinley, Boah, Goah, Brush and Weale, Gres perished
alongside her husband in the destruction of their starship the Wooden Doll whilst escaping the Imperial invasion of her homeworld Trefnare. (NHP) Galletti, Hindley
- Oldest of the four Galletti brothers, and previous owner of Latti Tellex's starship Cronta’s Lady and Goah Galletti’s ship the Shadow of the
Phoenix. Hindley was captured and interrogated aboard the first Death Star before its completion, dying as a result of his torture due to the
overuse of an interrogation device known as a Brain Hover. (DSC) Galletti, Kessik – Son
of Boah Galletti and cousin of Drate. (BB) Galletti, Tref – (See Goodman,
Tref) Galletti,
Weale - Youngest member of the Galletti family, Weale was as unaware of her surviving brother’s existence as
they were of hers. Thought by her
brothers to have been killed in the family’s escape from Trefnare after the Imperial invasion, Weale was taken in at the
age of eight and trained by Glann
Cipples Shadow Warriors on
Ferrerea, working for them on numerous occasions. Highly skilled in the
martial arts, espionage and guile, Weale assisted agents such as Himbimimam out in the field on worlds as inhospitable as Janos and later on Tatooine where she operated for a while as Glann
Cipple's Alpha Source in Jabba the Hutt's court,
known as Innga Marrael and posing as a dancer. After the disbandment of the Shadow
Warriors, Weale operated as an independent, hiring out her skills to the
highest bidder, and made a reputation as an espionage expert, infiltrating
organisations and gaining access to the highest echelons of business and
politics. During the Setnin/Ki-Ki War she worked alongside Jan Lomona and assisted in infiltrating Ki-Ki defences. (ADIL/JLSA/RoN/FFD/WPCS/RPG) Gallti, Lord – Son of Trefnare and Veshat, the two
original settlers of the planet Trefnare.
Deciding to name his homeworld after his dead father, Lord Gallti led
his people into a brave new future, and later generations of Trefnarians would use a derivation of his name as a family surname. (TBS) Gamatchinos, High Priest Rani - High
Janos priest who met Goah Galletti and Jan Lomona upon their arrival on Janos. Understanding the cultural
differences, Gamatchinos allowed the two men the luxury of living after
starting a fight on the landing platform after Galletti brought a shard of Janos Jewel into direct sunlight - an action which would melt and destroy the
precious jewel. (JOJ) Gant - Devious gunman who attempted to
assassinate Jan Lomona until he was out-witted by Lomonas
daughter Paige Retgarr-Lomona, who blasted him before he could administer the death shot to her
father. (NHP) Garalle, Enille
- Amiable human owner of the Lighthouse Bar on Draite.
Experienced at his trade,
Enille ran a tidy bar - and made a tidy profit. (RPG) Garmich, Mandrala
- Wife of the aged Janos
Executioner Redd Garmich. Mandrala chose to remain on
the Janos homeworld while Redd travelled the stars. Mandrala protected the sliver of Janos Jewel Garmich
carried, never allowing it to fall into Imperial hands. After Garmich’s death at the hands of Goah Galletti, Mandrala turned her life over to the religious teachings of Emperor Priest Culdanatia the Third.
(JOJ) Garmich, Redd
- Ageing Janos Executioner and an acquaintance of Goah Galletti and Jan Lomona.
Garmich was once a fierce warrior who had taken part in the
pacification of the island of Oronori on his homeworld of Janos. Garmich originally
encountered Galletti and Lomona on the world of Draite where along with ex-Imperial spy Pillot, Garmich attempted to buy passage way back
home to Janos, primarily to be with his wife Mandrala, but also to
return a shard of Janos Jewel to the homeworld. Redd was shot by Stormtroopers and
captured, only to escape later. On
Jan and Goah’s second visit to Janos, Janites abducted Galletti’s brief
romantic partner Frans Latka. Garmich had an altercation with Galletti
at the Woron Monastery, which resulted in Galletti losing his
temper and shooting Garmich through the head at close range. This set up a chain of events that almost
led to all their deaths.
(WC/JOJ/BR/RPG) Garr,
Daemon – Also known as Lord Raven. Furred alien with a short
temper, Garr wore heavy body armour with night vision capabilities. An ex-Bounty Hunter, Garr
worked with many people, including Jan
Lomona, Yorath Devalis and Nias Derril. Piloting his starship the Pacifier Scout Garr continued to operate around the Mid-Rim until he left the
sector for other challenges.
Returning to the sector years later he was aggrieved to find that his
friend Jan Lomona had been lost in a hyperspace accident and resolved to find
him, which he did – across the other side of the galaxy. Garr later married Netha Dubra, the woman who would later become known as the Lady Raven and became known as
Lord Raven, heading the Raven
Corporation, an operation
shrouded in mystery that eventually decided to join the Setnin resistance
during the Fall of Chancai and give a large number of vessels to the
Iron Claw leader Ryath Centaur. (LOF/TLFW/TD/RBH/THR/ASD/AAP/BOB/RPG) Gasaeda – Underworld figure who worked alongside Jan Lomona, Kamira and Jazz on the world of
Alrason.
A character of questionable morals, Gasaeda was ready to work for both
the ganglords Dressel and Wessen in his pursuit of riches and
influence. (RPG) Gemasson,
Admiral – Former leader of the Setnin Defence Force
answerable to Tannis Rixx.
Gemasson was resentful of this reduction in rank, and while being a
fierce military opponent he also kept this anger burning. (CF) Gemo the Gamp – Born of the Gamp species on the world of Gamp, Gemo was the brother of Gemmo, an operative
of Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine, and cousin of the twin bounty hunters Gimo and Jimo.
Gemo ran a small-time operation on the planet Kanina and regularly had to deal with important characters such as Petrol Merritch and Tannis Rixx. Affiliated with the Cipple sisters Bessa and Brea, Gemo kept his
operations small and compact, in order to leave swiftly if any of his plans
and schemes backfired. (WGA) Gemmo the Gamp - Born of the Gamp species on the world of Gamp, Gemmo was brother of Gemo, the small-time operator from Kanina and
cousin to Jimo and Gimo, the twin
bounty hunters and worked as an operative of Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine. Gemmo was instrumental in
bringing Weale Galletti, also known as Innga Marrael into Jabba’s court as one of his
dancers. Unbeknownst to him, she was
also there to spy And gather information for Glann Cipple. (RoN) Gennata,
Senator of A-desando – Serving
his people in the Senate on Coruscant for over fifty
years, Gennata lived out his remaining years in the small state of Drellea in A-desando’s southern seas after escaping the
dissolution of the Senate just prior to the Battle of Yavin. Forthright and outspoken, Gennata’s legacy
was the establishment of virtual autonomy for the Setnin Sector from the
policies of the Republic, leaving the massive Mid-Rim sector to its own devices.
Sometimes that worked to the good – Setnin was practically left alone
during the Empire’s initial surge throughout the galaxy. At other times that same autonomy would
prove to be a curse. Gennata’s rejection of the offer of aide from Supreme Chancellor Valorum during the Janos crisis meant apathy
towards Setnin in the Senate and a smaller voice on the Senate floor. (NHP) Gevier, Lord – Wiry,
sheepish man in the service of Emperor-Priest
Akallon IV. (SHTR/NHP) Gilgalen, Mind – The
unfortunate Mind who
was horribly killed during an ‘incident’ on an Enhancer, the machine that Minds use to transmit between

weapon was his right arm. (RPG) Gillet, Raj - Iron Claw officer and captain of the Thunderer. Gillet was
among Ryath Centaurs closest aides and was present during the Ki-Ki attack on Histai and the fall of Chancai. (EM/CF) Gimo the Gamp - Born on his species homeworld of Gamp. Disgraced undercover
operative in the employ of Predd
Jason, he was the twin brother of
the Bounty Hunter and Hitman Jimo a cousin of Jabba the Hutts operative Gemmo and the Kanina based small-time operator Gemo the Gamp. Gimo was sent to the
vacation-world of Luronsa IV as punishment for failing to warn six of
Predd Jason’s men of the dangers of travelling through the Quarshannel Sector.
Of the squat, hairy and thick-hided Gamp species, Gimo was the
lucky agent who spotted the Berone
Sunrise on Luronsa IV when the
common knowledge had the freighters location on Soluman. Because of his lowly position in the chain
of command his frantic message was ignored and the Lomona team made their way
on to Abrogard - but not without spotting and capturing
Gimo. In a fortunate turn of events,
Gimo wound up in the employ of Glann
Cipple. (JLSA/RPG) Gisu, Hicjo–
Pilot who was part of a team who boarded the Marauder Enforcer Class Battleship which was on a collision course with a civilian colony on the second moon of Tesser. (TAM) Gold, Mister – (See Cipple,
Glann) Golden – Female member
of Jeddess Essar’s three-strong team, along with Reptile and Scar.
Golden turned out to be a double agent, informing the Ki-Ki gunships where they would be
and arranged transport for herself with a pirate group on Wennicas.
She supplied Janos with intelligence regarding tactical data so
that the Janites, disguised as Ki-Ki personnel, could hit the targets.
Therefore, their unprotected vessel the Nexus Six was too good
a target to miss. (TBF) Goob, Juro – New Republic Setnin
Sector Senate representatives and aide to the greater council. (NHP) Goob, Velta - New Republic Setnin Sector Senate

Trefnare. (TBS) Goodman, Tref
- A young beautiful native of Trefnare, Tref was the first and only wife of then
would-be-smuggler Goah Galletti.
Her short life was soon ended by the cruel attentions of ISD Malevolent Captain Terrov, who abducted and abused her on Cantarr Bi Romou, eventually ending her life.
Galletti swore to gain revenge, which the real Galletti never managed
but his clone eventually did on the planet Escall some time later, killing Terrov in a gunfight and setting off a chain
reaction of Janos Jewel which destroyed the entire world.
(JOJ/WLW) Goolib - Glann Cipples operative on
the world of Angoria IV.
An old friend of Jan
Lomonas, Goolib received the Berone Sunrise when it landed in Docking
Bay 9. (TRAB) Goran, Councillor - Friend of the bounty hunter Tarr Ranth who assisted him in the bounty job concerning the murdered girl Jenna Lee. Ranth later learned that
Goran was not all he appeared to be when he saved Goran's daughter Solumni from being executed at his hand.
(RED) Goran, Solumni - Daughter of Councillor Goran. Solumni found out about her father's
deceit and threatened to tell all, and was saved from death at her father's
hands by the bounty hunter Tarr
Ranth. (RED) Gordol – Dwarfish

news company. (TCO) Grange - Amiable manager of the Capreecik Inn (Level 5, Northside, Unit 2564), Grange appreciated hard workers
like his assistant Doobwilf.
Enjoying the company of his staff he engendered hard effort from his
people. (ADIL) Gray, Havven
- Rebel Alliance Pathfinder highly valued by the Alliance in the Setnin Sector for his tracking and leadership
skills. (NHPW/RPG) Gree, Chairman - Head of the S.J.D. The Setnin Justice Department, Gree was meant to be meeting Glann Cipples number one Melm for an evening meal to discuss Hunter Killers, a project concerning a brand of cybernetically enhanced humanoid designed by Cipple to serve as Lawkeepers for the Setnin Justice Department. Due to the failure of HK Ten the meal never took place. (HK) Greeny, Lawgad
– The ebony-skinned Greeny was to many the face of the Cipple operation, him being the weapons
desk officer at Glanns Fortress. Formerly a gunman and an
ex-member of Jan Lomona’s
Trac-Tran Transit Company, Greeny
was known by many. Trusted by
Cipple, Lawgad was also involved, alongside Yullm, in the Hunter Killer Project and monitored their progress from
afar. (LBT/YBNP/HK/AV/RPG) Greet - Rodian spy working for the Ki-Ki

- A capable and able young Jedi, adept at wielding the Lightsabre. (NHPW/RPG) Grin - Beggar, scruff, known Rampologist - just a few descriptions of the scaly lipless alien known to the
local sectors simply as Grin. For
someone of such dubious talents Grin certainly amassed an impressive amount
of occupations. Informer,
professional drinker and most impressive of all for a brief time a shop owner
on Chancai, Grin at Holoprints (Level 15, Southside, Unit 2092), one of
Grins jobs surprised more than a few people.
Glann Cipple recruited Grin to pass information during
the D’Staan job to Abrogard, utilising Grins
immense knowledge of underground gossip and his ability to blend into a crowd
and not be noticed. His confidence
bolstered, Grin enjoyed a raised level of respect from his friends and
colleagues, occasionally becoming involved in various schemes, such as the
scam to sell a Hunter Killer law keeper to tech expert Blinkers, and eventually using the dead techs warehouse as a base. But despite this Grin was still kicked off
most ramps.
(PF/TP/JLSA/TCO/BS/HK/RPG) Grogga - From the world of Drono, this slug-headed smuggler plied his trade on the Outer Rim in his Powcorp/Desando
