Characters Guide - K
K'atah, Lord - Pupil of the dark Bedois warrior Arcc Nedeen who was aboard the Imperial Class Star Destroyer
Indefatigable during the Zobian Pirate attack on the Chancai
Trade Centre. (RPG) K’Pexx – Call sign I-Seven and member of Squadron
Indigo during the Ki-Ki/Setnin War. (WPCS/SSAO) K’Tell, Commander
Haevo - Commanding officer of the ISD Malcontent which
pursued Lee Anari’s Vision of
Tereen over Kandor III. (LTE) K’Tenn, Maxia
- X-Wing pilot and girlfriend of the Squadron Indigo pilot Aaron Calcavera. K’Tenn was a tenacious pilot who plotted
inventive courses and attack angles.
Maxia lost her life protecting a Y-Wing bombing raid over
the Imperial-held planet of Dunga. (RPG) K3-N12 - Antiquated droid belonging
to the ageing smuggler Anzai Karoo.
K3, or N1K as he is affectionately known, lived
aboard Karoos starship the Cannon
Angel and assisted in any and all
mechanical repairs. Originally the
droid on board the Happy Contriver, N1K unknowingly contained an information
chip that held a huge amount of information about the D’Staan deals and runs into the Core.
The chip was placed there one year prior to Rigers apparent death at
the hands of Dressel and found three years after Anzai’s death
by Injevido, a denizen of the Shattered Zone making a name for himself in Setnin.
An early model of Astromech, NIK was able to speak directly through
the vocal device fitted to him.
(AK/ED/InV) Kabel, Onin
- This Human male businessman was also a passenger onboard the Screaming Moonbeam.
Very much the opportunist, Onin was a greedy man who was never
satisfied. (RPG) Kaeton, Miak
- Free trader from Halando. Kaeton was an easygoing man with dark hair
who enjoyed a chat in a dusky cantina as much as the adventures he got into.
Romantically involved with the smuggler Mar Ettaca. (RPG) Kailo - Female Duros bodyguard of
the Cawbate ganglord Dressel. Loyal and efficient, Kailo had an easy
professional working relationship with her Amagadian counterpart Melm, the Shadow Warrior who took care of Glann Cipples affairs and
who trained Kailo as a Shadow Warrior before Dressel poached her. (RTS/JLSA) Kallam, Meggrish - Glann
Cipples main spokesperson, Kallam
was the public face of the Cipple concern in Amagad City. Liasing with the city council, Kallam
justified any details Glanns public affairs - even though most of the council
was in Cipples pocket already.
(NHP/RPG) Kambri, Intelligence
Officer – Mon Calamari male of unknown age. Dressed in dark
green gear with lots of pockets, Kambri also carried a large briefcase that
was locked and bound to his wrist by binders, to which he didn’t have the
key. Friendly but always on the defensive, both verbally and physically. Kambri worked for the Rebel
Alliance since it’s inception and had been a constant source of
information. He collects information routed to him through agents and took
the collected data to his superiors in the briefcase, which he protected with
his life. (RPG) Kamira - Towering reptilian alien from the
planet Flourtin who was adept at many skills, Kamira was
able to regenerate himself using heat sources and power cables - in the
instance of injury he could heal himself.
A good friend of the mercenary Tarr Ranth and Dren Nolder, Kamira was a sometime employee of Glann Cipple, until he fell
foul of Cipples wrath after beheading a Rodian wanted alive by
Glann. Kamira apparently died at
the hands of the smuggler Jan
Lomona and the mercenary Ryath Centaur in a swamp on the world of Nordron.
With his energy-based form blasted into a thousand pieces, his remains
were eaten by a thousand Scavenger
Fish, who swam apart and were
caught by a thousand fishermen. Sent
to a thousand worlds, it is thought highly unlikely that Kamira will ever be
seen again. (RPG) Kans, Redill - Travelling female human doctor who specialised
in infectious diseases. (RPG) Karak,
Borss - After being
dishonourably discharged from the Tantum
Police Force for allegedly
collaborating with the very criminals he was supposed to be arresting, Borss
found that he could make a hefty amount of credits selling information to the
highest bidder, and so set out to find the seediest underground places and
keep his ears to the ground. Now
operating as an information broker, Borss aims to get as good a reputation
as Lerone Eyelove and Galante. (RPG) Karatchi,
Benzel – Genuine
political
opponent of Glann Cipple who stood against the Amagad ganglord in an Amagad
City Governors election. Karatchi ran Cipple close,
narrowly losing out on the final round of votes. Two years later after the fall of Cipple Benzel won the
governorship, but it was a hollow victory as Amagad City was destroyed by the
Heed, the enormous starship that had
been steered into the planet, knocking it off its axis and plunging it into a
nuclear winter. Karen – Bridge crew aboard the ISD Constance, Nias
Derril’s star
destroyer that housed the mind and soul of his lost wife Constance. (TDDP) Karoo, Anzai– Known
throughout the smuggling fraternity within the Mid-Rim, Anzai Karoo was
something of a legend. An original
member of the Cipple-Dressel-Riger-D’Staan
team who made such an impact on the
Setnin Sector underworld three decades ago, Karoo led a
varied life. A failed Jedi student, Karoo sought out another life to occupy him, eventually
winding up as the assistant to that illustrious group. Pilot of the famed ship the Cannon Angel, Anzai had been mentor and friend to many operators including Jan Lomona and Goah Galletti. He met his death at the hands of Queed/Riger on Trefnare after meeting up with the rest of the
remaining Happy Contrivers for the final time. (AK/ED/FDJH /FOG/ReN/RPG) Kaweel - Rodian agent of Glann Cipple’s on the planet Tintatell
III. Based in Tinogue Town Kaweel sent regular information packets
back to Amagad concerning the activities of Cipples
rivals. (RPG) Kenarten, Uuvay
- Administrator of the local authorities in the city of Chollywood on Trefnare.
Kenarten was informed of the build up of Imperial troops in
Chollywood by the then-smuggler Goah
Galletti. Approaching Commander
Gromso Endagra, the local Imperial
official, Kenarten made a stand, which led to the Rebel Alliance learning the
location of the troop build up and destroying it. (SR) Kerreet, Mando – Member of the Secondary
Council, or
SC of non-affiliated worlds. A
contentious being, he brought into dispute the validity of the union between
the Setnin Sector and the Galactic Alliance on many occasions. A loyal citizen of Setnin, he was instrumental in the formation
of the unified Setnin Defence Force, and a supporter of Tannis Rixx leading the new
S.D.F. (SOD/IIFM/EM/RPG) Kerrik, Doctor
- Human medical man who operated out of Chancai (Doctor Kerrik’s
Prosthetic Surgery, Level 7, Southside, Unit 6245). Kerrik was the doctor who fitted Goah Galletti with a
prosthetic arm after his attempted suicide, learning in the process that
Galletti was in fact a clone. This
knowledge was to prove to be the death of him – Carlonian Feese executed
Kerrik on the ramp of a liner bound for Chancai. (RPG) Khan,
Captain Mendip
- One of the youngest Imperial
Captains.
Entrusted with the modified VSDII
Deliverance,
later renamed the Sword of Justice, he was a loyal Imperialist
until the Battle of Kren’Du where his forces met an invasion
from outside the galaxy. Abandoned by his fellow captains and their star ships,
he fought bravely, barely managing to save his crew and ship. Escaping to wild space he fought an internal battle with his loyalties and
eventually came to the realisation that the Empire was not what he thought it might be. Avoiding a mutiny
by loyalist Imperial crewmembers, he officially left the service of the
Empire, taking those members of his crew that were loyal with him. Wandering
wild space and the Outer Rim
Territories he
eventually created a top-notch mercenary unit, unique in their loyalty for
their captain. They only take commissions from deserving causes, fighting to
protect the underdog from the less scrupulous members of the galaxy. They
forged a healthy allegiance with an organisation known as the Raven Corporation. All Khan knew was that the Lady Raven paid his prices, and as long as she did, he’d work for
her. Khan sacrificed both himself and
his ship the S.S.C Intrepid when helping people escape Chancai after the Ki-Ki
invasion, but
miraculously survived. Khan and his
crew were captured by the Ki-Ki and Lord
Raven swore he
would free him. Ultimately, Khan was
liberated by Tar Ranth, Jan Lomona and Ryath Centaur. (MM/NO/SOR/CF)
Kilarn, Fedott
- Human mercenary and Bounty Hunter who wore
heavy concealing armour. Kilarn
enjoyed the profession a little too much, and as such would take unnecessary
risks. His chosen weapons were blaster
pistols and throwing knives, which he used, to great effect. (RPG) Killai, Poors – Call sign
I-Eight and member of Squadron Indigo during the Ki-Ki/Setnin War.
(WPCS/SSAO) Kindar, Duray – Son of Mira and Torath Kindar, this young lad worked hard on the
families moisture and Jajacki herd farm. Strongly-built for his age, Duray was in awe of his fathers
friend Tarr Ranth when he visited them at their farm, and
was later rescued by ranth and his own mother after being taken by landowners
angry at the Kindars moisture farming success. (ToD) Kindar, Mira – Formerly
known as Mira Brendo, this former Corellian Imperial agent was also known as The Hawk after she sought revenge on the men who had assisted the dark force
user Greve Deakon in murdering her force-using
parents. Mother of Duray and wife of Torath, she came across Tarr Ranth during his days in CORSEC and later worked alongside him to free
her son from the clutches of landowners on their home of Gantooine. (ToD) Kindar, Torath – Friend
of Tarr Ranth and husband of Mira Brendo, a former Imperial
agent who operated as The Hawk to gain revenge on her parents killers. Torath was a smuggler, running his operations mainly away from
the world of Gantooine that they had decided to call their
home. Faithful and loyal to his wife
and son Duray, he was wise enough to know that his own
skills paled against those of his wife Mira, and watched as she saved their
son from the clutches of local landowners.
(ToD) Kings, Commander
- Much respected and hard-bitten X-Wing
pilot and commando who led the strike
team onto the ISSD Revenger.
This battle-hardened veteran went down under a hail of fire, allowing
the other members of his strike team to make it back to the Junk Shuttle. Kings was the first officer to join the roster of the crack X-Wing
Fighter squadron, Squadron Indigo. (QFF) Kinler - Nervous and apparently timid Bounty Hunter from the world of Orionto who partnered fellow Hunter Jonan. Despite his nature, Kinler
made some significant catches in his career within the Mid-Rim. (RPG) Kinro, Marala
- Underground leader and owner of the Desando Dynamics DD-472 Stock Light Freighter the Javac Nobleman. (NHP/RPG) Kirrich - This nervous Tuffutian mechanic fainted at the slightest sign of danger, but was practically
inexpendable due to his knack of foreseeing mechanical problems. Kirrich travelled light and travelled wide,
helping Skeet Jonas during his successful times racing swoops
on Raca City, but always-ended up back on Tuffu, his home world. Kirrich stole Skeet’s speeder and sold it onto Komag the Hutt, but it was uncertain as to whether he
was co-erced into this action.
(SOP/RPG) Kit’Kitch – Large,
insectoid alien employed by the spice seller Ziggy Teflon. Now owner of the Brrrrixt Cantina
on the planet of Amagad, Kit’Kitch loved to gamble, which he
regularly did with Luschia Arkensaw. (MON/EVP) Klan, Derri–
Hard-nosed Corellian pilot who flew for a living, escorting
cargo ships and freight transports through the rougher areas of the Mid-Rim. In his battered but
powerful Assallam Astronautics YAL
Stock Light Freighter he made a
steady but hair-raising living and on occasion was referred to work for Glann Cipple by Jan Lomona, who also
hired him for Trac-Tran
Transit Company duties. (MON/RPG) Klite,
Ambassador - Ki-Ki Ambassador to Coruscant,
Klite has a passionate love affair with Galactic Alliance
policy advisor Sheu Ho-Travi, one which helped bend the
decisions of the senate in favour of Galactic Alliance non-intervention of
the Setnin/Ki-Ki war. Beautiful and powerful in her
decision-making, Klite was one not to trifle with. (CM) Kollspar - Accountant and financial advisor to the Amagad-based ganglord Glann Cipple who once worked for Cipple's predecessor Duze Jostenn in a similar capacity.
Kollspar was one of a legion of advisors who were tapped for their
knowledge by Cipple, never knowing the whole picture of Glanns financial
affairs - and rarely moving on to subsequent employment. Kollspar was with Cipple and Carlonian Feese when the ganglord told Jan
Lomona of his impending journey to Abrogard to contact Dessio D’Staan.
(EP/JLSA) Komag the Hutt, - Huttese criminal and
underworld mover and shaker, Komag ran a large operation in and around the Junduk System of the Ki-Ki Sector and hired out jobs to various hunters
such as Queed.
As well as the standard criminal activities, Komag also briefly had in
his employ the last living member of the ancient and extinct Bedois race Arcc Nedeen who worked under contract to Grand Moff Galgen. Knowing the illegalities of
having such a force user in Imperials employ, Komag planned to blackmail
Galgen before his own messy demise at the hands of a parcel bomb.
(DOY/SOP/RPG) Koors, Varee - Lecherous owner of the Koors Hotel (Level 11, Southside, Unit 3487 – 4356). Known for keeping a discreet and safe hotel, Koors’
establishment became the number one place for fugitives to bunk down for a
night’s sleep. With a roving eye for
the ladies Koors took a special interest in the fantastic curves of Glann Cipples field agent Terrie Saffra.
(JLSA) Kopen, Jur – Setnin
Justice Department deep cover operative, working within the Setnin
Underworld to sell out criminals and bust open organisations. Now the most
wanted man in the Setnin Sector – by everyone. (DWCE) Kordure, Governor–
Imperial (LL/NHP) Kortie, Landar
- Former human mercenary who joined Tralat Durges pirate gang
in the Ruuthorne System.
Kortie made the most of the opportunities that came his way when Durge
joined forces with Jan Lomonas
Trac-Tran Transit Company. (AOR /RPG) Kragra - Driv Oratt’s Wookie bodyguard. Despite detesting Oratt, Kragra honoured a life debt to the human
drug dealer, as was the Wookie way. (RPG) Krans, Yacty
- One of the many female
smugglers in the employ of Glann Cipple, Yacty Krans was one of the hardest working. Generally given the long hauls out of the
local sectors, Krans could be away from Amagad for months at a
time. Given this woman’s preference
for the solitude of space, and with only an ancient Astromech for company, she
was highly valued by Cipple and all within his operation. (RPG) Kreaiden, Andrus - Heroic son of Prime Lord Paol Kreaiden, Andrus was disliked by his father and
brother for his views on peace and fair play within the Ki-Ki
Sector. A close friend of Arkin, Andrus also listened closely to the
words of the captured former governor
of Chancai Ocern Gabe while he
was in a Ki-Ki prison. (FOV) Kreaiden, Prime Lord Atheus - Devious son of Prime Lord Paol Kreaiden. Atheus had an almost maniacal need for conquest and so made true his
father's threat and invaded the Setnin Sector - after securing the throne for himself
by murdering his father. (FOV/SPLL) Kreaiden, Prime Lord Hundaya – Prime Lord a millennia before the Ki-Ki/Setnin War.
Kreaiden was responsible for overseeing the creation of the Order of Minds, a collective that held huge influence
over the Ki-Ki Sector for a thousand years. Kreaiden, Prime Lord Kiri
– Prime Lord two hundred years before the Ki-Ki/Setnin War. Kiri was responsible for introducing The Games into
Ki-Ki culture, deadly gladiatorial combats designed to engender loyalty and
patriotism to the Ki-Ki Sector. His
actions turned the rest of the galaxy against the Ki-Ki, therefore starting a
period of isolation. Kreaiden, Prime Lord Paol – The ultimate ruler of the Ki-Ki
Sector, the Prime Lord has
ruled as fairly as he saw fit for many years, trying to make the sector as
independent as possible. As the sector is not a rich one, he has to suffer
the pseudo-control of the Mindmoon over the outdated communication system. Harbouring a deep resentment
of Baron Pede Familee
for marrying his daughter against his wishes, the Prime Lord has been looking
for any excuse to penalise the world of Chinngard, the newest member of the sector.
Kreaiden died at the hands of his murderous son Atheus, who succeeded him as Prime Lord.
(SHTR/FOV/NHP) Kren, Koumi
- This ex-gambler and native of the planet Kanina never intended to become a pirate - not until his starship The Turn decided to give up the ghost on the edge of the Ruuthorne System. Given no other option but
to join, Kren used his intuition to help assist in targets and hits. Later working for the Trac-Tran Transit Company, Kren used his knowledge of cards to
assist in helping deals go down.
(AOR/RPG) Krim - A dangerous human pirate working the Setnin Sector in his Correllian PH-1400
freighter the Set-Snare. Krim had much success as a
pirate and Bounty Hunter. His prime
bounty target was the female mercenary Luschia Arkensaw. (RPG) Krina - Rebel X-Wing Fighter pilot who proved his immense skills during the
skirmishes on Varoone.
Impressed with his skills, Admiral
Jalman requested that Krina be made
a member of Squadron Indigo.
The rest was Setnin Sector history.
(NHP) Kriner, General
- Nearing the final years in service to the Empire, Kriner had been a
loyal servant since the dissolution of the Republic and the massacre
of the Jedi Knights. Taking
this final posting on the world of
Amagad Kriner found the temptations
offered to him by the ganglord Glann
Cipple simply too much to resist
and quickly became answerable to him.
Saddened by his own personal weakness, Kriner continued to oversee
Amagad for the Empire - but it was a mere facade. (JLSA/RPG) Kryll Travers - Human pilot, Travers joined the Specforce as an urban operative, after four years as a Rebel pilot. For three years he
specialised as a field operative. (NHPW/RPG) Kup, Bu’rr– Aid to Emag Retsam on the swoop
capital Raca City on
Junduk IV in the Ki-Ki Sector. (SOP) Kuulerr, B’Rell– Senator
of Zelon at the time that the Governor of Chancai, Ocern Gabe, suggested that the Setnin Sector rejoin the Republic.
Agreeing with the proposal, Kuulerr presented the idea to the senate
and the forty-eight year long era of autonomy came to a peaceful end. (NHP) Kuwatti, Teena
- A middle aged, female Bounty
Hunter, Kuwatti appeared as if in a
daze, whilst all the time being totally focused on her job. Hating the stereotyping that goes with
female hunters, Kuwatti acted rough, gruff and crazy. (RPG) Kwarnee, Arnee
- One of the most celebrated entertainers in the galaxy, and certainly the most
popular in the Setnin Sector.
From the planet Trefnare, Kwarnee built his career, first as a
straight man to slapstick comedian Jubul
Ports and later as a host on the
light entertainment Holo-show `Galaxy
Tonight’. But it was the massive successes of his own show `Arnee Kwarnee in the Afternoon’, with co-host Ned Hillins which catapulted him to superstardom. (CF/NHP/RPG) Ky-Lami - Human tramp freighter pilot and captain
of the Rapier.
Along with his R5-D4
Astromech droid he plied his trade
throughout the galaxy. (RPG) Kydda, Coli - Female Rodian mercenary who
worked with anyone she could find, taking any price for any job. (RPG) Kyson, Admiral - Kyson used the ISD Barbarian as his
flagship in and around the Gervlin
System, which he commanded. Promoting Hijjin Lomona to the
captaincy of the ISD Vanquo and later the Barbarian he was greatly
saddened by his protégés death. (SS) Kyu - Imperial trooper under the command of Admiral Felld who was ordered to apprehend Bazillicon Doron, Peach Squadron member and super spy who had just
publicly embarrassed the Admiral.
