so Goah is paired with an experienced female smuggler called Garani. He accepts a job from an unknown benefactor to
transport a consignment of high explosive across Tatooine to the township of Mos Banely. Goah is paid
to ride shotgun, protecting them from Tusken Raider attacks and the
attentions of opposing gangsters.
Arriving at Mos Espa spaceport Galletti secures the Phoenix and meets up with Garani in a tapcafe. She is a stunningly beautiful woman of indeterminate years who carries an air of calculated and confident danger. After collecting their cargo, a CK-59 Overland Bulk Transporter and a skimmer for him to ride shotgun in they begin their journey across the Dune Sea. Three hours in, an Imperial attack squad attacks them, and Garani’s Bulk Transporter is destroyed. After a fierce gun battle the Empire believes them both to be dead and so they leave the scene. Galletti is confused – why would the Empire attack them in such a lacklustre manner? Why not finish them off for sure? Convinced that that his female companion has set him up he stuns Garani and takes off in the undamaged skimmer. Arriving at Mos Banely he storms through the town, incapacitating agents and gunmen who have been sent to stop him. After cornering a hapless snitch he locates his mystery benefactor’s headquarters in the centre of the township and breaks in. He is faced by a small-time operator called Daroth who fearfully informs Galletti that he was ordered to betray Goah by an Imperial Commander called Terrov. Unimpressed, Galletti informs Daroth that Garani was already working for the Empire and that he needn’t have dealt with Terrov – Garani was a lure for Goah and he had figured this out from early on. Certain that he is about to die Daroth pleads for his life and Goah tells him not to beg to him but to beg to the Imperial squad who would soon be arriving to find a large consignment of illegal explosives – packaged with receipts and bound for a Rebel Alliance cell, or so it would appear. Pleased with his day’s work Goah leaves Mos Banely to begin his journey back to Mos Espa and the Phoenix.

1987 and recorded on 30th July 1987, this 1999 revised tale, which incorporates
the location of Mos Espa from Episode I - The Phantom Menace, shows Goah Galletti
at work on the desert planet Tatooine - a location much visited by the
1980's incarnation of the character. Also
