Thirty years after Battle of Yavin

 

DRATE GALLETTI ARRIVES IN THE SETNIN SECTOR

 

-          Drate Galletti, son of famed smuggler Goah Galletti arrives in the Setnin Sector after the death of his father in the Core Worlds.

-          Jedi Knights within the Setnin Sector decide to use the world of Rai as their base of operations for future training and defence of the sector.

-          Construction of Paladin Base on Rai is begun with haste.

-          Galactic Alliance officers suggest to the Setnin Council that a vessel should be dispatched to the Janos quarantine zone to patrol the borders and prevent trouble from spilling over into the local area.  The council agrees.

-          The Setnin world of Histai signs a trade agreement with the Setnin Council for the sale of ditrinium ore to Setnin shipyards.

 

 30+ ABY – Back to the Setnin Sector

 

-          An ex-Zobian strike ship flying Galactic Alliance colours and with a re-conditioned Zobian crew aboard is sent to patrol the Janos quarantine zone, regardless of the bad blood between the Janites and the Zobians.

-          Galactic Alliance Nebulon-S Frigate Dawnrider arrives to ferry the four Jedi Knights to their new base on Rai.

 

30+ ABY – Moving House

 

-          The Galactic Alliance places scan satellites over major population areas in the Setnin Sector to monitor traffic, specifically the planet Cawbate, a world notorious for its privacy.

 

30+ ABY – The Seeds of Destruction

 

-          Elected speaker for the non-affiliated worlds Mando Kerreet makes vocal his displeasure at Galactic Alliance Nebulon-S battleships escorting the ditrinium to their locations

 

JANOS DECLARES WAR ON SETNIN COUNCIL

 

-          Angered by the affront of sending a Zobian vessel into their space the Emperor Priest Akallon the Fourth declares war with the Setnin Council, the remnants of the Zobian people and the non-affiliated worlds. 

-          At 05.45 word reaches the Zelonian moon of Benesk and the Governor of Chancai Ocern Gabe of the Janites declaration of war.  All traffic bordering the Janos quarantine zone is restricted and monitored.

-          Letitia Arkensaw contacts her superiors in the Galactic Alliance hierarchy to confer and seek advice.

 

30+ ABY – And They Shall Have Their Revenge

 

JANOS INVADES CHINNGARD

 

-          Internal warfare breaks out in the Ki-Ki Sector as Prime Lord Paol Kreaiden attacks the order of Minds. Knowing they were involved with the invasion of Chinngard and the death of his daughter Julid, the Prime Lord instigates a purge.

-          Prime Lord Paol Kreaiden also blames Janos and the entire Setnin Sector, towards which the Ki-Ki Sector has always had a huge distrust.

-          The two remaining sons of Pede Familee and their sister hide away on the world of Amagad, aided by Lovo.

 

UNOFFICIAL DECLARATION OF HOSTILITIES AGAINST SETNIN

 

-          Prime Lord Paol Kreaiden unofficially declares the beginning of hostilities against the Setnin Sector by stating that any Setnin registered ships straying into Ki-Ki territory shall be destroyed.

-          Several cargo haulage companies request Iron Claw escort for their ships.

-          The Iron Claws submit a request to the Galactic Alliance to expand their warship fleet.

-          Tannis Rixx prepares for his journey to his homeworld of Janos by reacquainting himself with the rules, regulations and code of being a Janos Executioner and by reading the detailed accounts of spies within the Janite court.

JANITE FORCES FORCED OFF CHINNGARD

 

-          Emperor Priest Akallon the Fourth and his forces, after being driven off Chinngard by the Ki-Ki legions realises that they must spend time re-strengthening their forces and therefore isolate themselves on Janos.

-          Andrus, brother of the new Prime Lord Atheus who attained his new position by murdering their father, is forced to flee Chinngard with a few loyal men and disappears.

-          Dagger, the son of Arkin, is taken to the Ki-Ki capital of Fedarn to begin his training as a warrior of the Prime Lord.

-          The order of Minds scatter throughout the Ki-Ki Sector under the onslaught of the new Prime Lord Atheus.

HALANDO ACCUSES A-DESANDO OF KI-KI COLLUSION

 

-          Halando, sister world of A-desando, complains bitterly to the Setnin Council, stating their belief that A-desando is harbouring Ki-Ki dissidents.  Although unsubstantiated, these cries do not go unheard and a delegation is sent to Ecaps City.

-          Disgusted at the inference of collaboration, A-desando refuses to comply with the request, bringing the full weight of the Councils legal power down upon them.  A-desando complies, and no dissidents are found.

-          Injevido spends time cataloguing the information on the infamous D’Staan disk to find what is useful and what is not.

-          Injevido sells N1K and Artoo-Beenine to help raise capital for his new operation and then decides to make contact with other gang leaders to ascertain their worth and threat to his newly formed powerbase.

WAR BREAKS OUT BETWEEN A-DESANDO AND HALANDO

 

-          After many recent incidents and arguments, the sister worlds of A-desando and Halando shatter years of uneasy peace and begin a war that flares swiftly, bringing the other two Desando System worlds of Locaarn and Lagara into the conflict.

-          Ecaps City Governor Dap Teks calls on his old friend Jan Lomona to travel to A-desando and mediate in the dispute.  An expert in A-desandian politics, a popular former governor himself and of Halandan descent, Lomona begins talks between the two parties.  The talks are unsuccessful.

-          Forced to choose a side to conclude the conflict, Lomona brings Locaarn and Lagara together in a strong coalition that surprises the powerhouses of A-desando and Halando and forces them to lay down their arms.  Flushed with success, Lomona leaves his ancestral home of Halando and his birth home of A-desando hailed as a hero and after many years of virtual banishment able to return at any time.

35+ ABY – Holding on to Failing Power

 

-          Lordmind Estoor is forced to seek new allies in his bid to regain his position of power in the Ki-Ki Sector. 

-          Lordmind Estoor reluctantly travels into the Setnin Sector to find fresh assistance.

 

35+ ABY – A Curse Made Real

 

-          Cathum realises that if Prime Lord Atheus abuses his power he can use the son of Arkin to rid himself of the despot.  He decides to keep Dagger close in case he needs him.

-          Commander Brotus hears rumours that the Prime Lords advisors are concerned with the future of the Ki-Ki Sector under the rule of Atheus and decide to design contingency plans in case his sudden removal is required. An ambitious man, he has burning desires to see the Ki-Ki sector expand and grow and covets the richer worlds within the Setnin Sector borders.

 

35+ ABY – Saving the Prime Lords Life

 

-          Prime Lord Atheus, terrified at the sudden appearance of Arkins son Dagger realises he cannot remove him either officially or unofficially – the people love him.  He decides to send him to the front line of the coming war against the Setnin Sector, where he hopes he be killed in battle, hailed as a war hero and therefore become a martyr to the Ki-Ki cause.

-          Commander Brotus and his Ki-Ki tacticians plot to take the rich world of Leogard in the Setnin Sector, a planet that is a member of the Galactic Alliance

 

35+ ABY – The Invasion of Leogard

 

LEOGARD FALLS TO KI-KI FORCES

 

-          Leogard falls to an overwhelming Ki-Ki force in a matter of hours.  A small band of only six Galactic Alliance trouble-shooters survive and hide in the mountains.

-          Tarr Ranth travels to Chancai to close his account with gunsmith Grabby Cap.

-          Prime Lord Atheus Kreaiden takes on a mysterious new advisor, an alien with many contacts and knowledge of warfare. As a result the Ki-Ki war machine is bolstered by an influx of weapons and equipment.

 

35+ ABY – Close of Business

 

-          Fedarn’s Shining Beauty begins a three-week refit on the edge of the war front, eight systems away from the forward push of the Ki-Ki forces.

 

LEOGARD RESISTANCE BEGINS OPERATION

 

-          A resistance cell begins operation on Leogard.  Known as the Leogard Resistance, they are led by Tasmin De’Athe – mother of Tarr Ranth.

 

35+ ABY – Problems and Solutions

 

-          Despite Ocern Gabe’s protestations, Galactic Alliance Investigators do not implicate the Ki-Ki forces in the attack upon the Divine.  However, a recommendation is made to the Senate to assign mediators to the Setnin/Ki-Ki border dispute.

 

35+ ABY – The Halls Have Ears

 

SETNIN COUNCIL PREPARE FOR MILITARY ACTION

 

-          Ocern Gabe calls old friend Kryll Travees knowing that military action might be required to settle the Ki-Ki/Leogard incident.  Kryll is asked to assemble a fleet as fast as possible before more Ki-Ki forces arrive.

-          Kryll Travees accepts the offer and begins his work.

-          Galactic Alliance red tape and bribes made by Ki-Ki officials delays the allocation of mediators to Leogard.

-          War Marshall Areed leaves the employ of Emperor Priest Akallon the Fourth after years of service.

-          Lovo introduces the Familee children to the Cipple sisters. He must still keep the Familee children a secret from the searching eyes of Lordmind Estoor.

 

35+ ABY – Favours

 

-          Prime Lord Atheus Kreaiden realises that attacking Setnin worlds part of the Galactic Alliance would not only start serious trouble with the Setnin Sector but also with the Galactic Alliance.

 

KI-KI/GALACTIC ALLIANCE RULES OF CONDUCT DRAFTED

 

-          After the attack on the Divine during the invasion of Leogard, and the tense political atmosphere that Ki-Ki attack brought about, Ki-Ki and Galactic Alliance delegates draw up a code of conduct, stating that no Ki-Ki vessels shall fire upon Galactic Alliance vessels, attack Galactic Alliance worlds or otherwise interfere with Galactic Alliance business within the Setnin Sector. 

-          The Setnin Council reads the code of conduct and is uniformly disgusted at what the Galactic Alliance has agreed to, seeing it as a convenient way in which to protect Galactic Alliance worlds but leave the remaining planets to the Ki-Ki.

-          Within the Setnin Sector, anti-Galactic Alliance feeling grows.

-          Bessa Cipple supplies the Familee twins with the scout ship Endeavour and an assault crew to aid them in their bid for revenge against Janos and the Minds.

-          Captain Lovo and War Marshall Areed return separately to the Ki-Ki Sector to evacuate friends and family before war erupts.
