Dormer
loft sequence (Flat roof)

1.UPVC double-glazed
windows now fitted. Flat roof complete with decking and first layer
of felt on. Because of the method of construction we adopt, external
works are kept watertight throughout.

2. View of different
conversion site showing same flat roof dormer. Note: structural steels
required here, these are splice-jointed in order to achieve easy access
to roof space.

3. Here we arrive
at the structural floor layout complete with steels. the perimeter constructed
with staircase in position.

4. New stairs in
position with existing panels to original stairs, about to be removed.
With new spindles fitted to match staircase to loft.

5. Original roof
timbers now removed and external framework of dormer erected. Water
tank moved to a temporary position awaiting final location to be constructed.

6. Windows fitted
with lead work under. Flat roof ready for final layers and tiling started.

7. View from new
staircase into finished room. Cupboard storage area from landing with
access door.

8. Internal plastering
complete with final works now having been carried out.

9. Tiling well underway,
running into side cheeks of UPVC windows. This then has a silicon sealant
applied at this joint. The small extension pitched roof is being renewed
at this stage. Any additonal works which may become apparent are brought
to the client's attention. Should they wish for these works to be carried
out during this period, we will be happy to price for them.

10. View from the new loft room out through the entrance door and down
the stairs. Electrical works complete. Note the access door to cupboard
areas and access panel to the new water tank.

11. All handrails are now fitted with a chamfered edge, spindles between.
The stairparts can be made to match the exisitng where required.
