Velux windows loft sequence up to plaster stage

1. Here we see the velux roof windows fitted for light and ventilation to the new room. These have double glazing with pine finish internally, externally, the windows have a brown powder coat with fitted flashings.



2. Joist layout of structural floor being set in position ready to form new staircase opening.



3. Floor layout complete, the perimeter walls formed. This then enables the original support props to be removed, creating the open space for the new room.

4. Opening formed with velux windows fitted, perimeter walls in place with void access door psotions determined.

5. Plumbing and electrical works now being installed.

6. Installation now complete. Celotex roof board onsloping ceilings leaving air gap nehind for adequate ventilation. Insulation quilt to perimeter wall areas.
