Went to (Dubstar's) concert last night at het Paard in the Hague, their
only Dutch concert and all in all it was a small disaster with about 25 people
watching... The band started an hour later, only played about 45 minutes (no
encores of course) and Sarah was pretty pissed off (she drank two cans of beer
during the set and mostly stared at the ceiling). I spoke with the t-shirt
seller afterwards who said they just made a sellout tour in the UK, Yep, life on
the road is tough! Hope the next gigs on the European tour will do better
(Amsterdam would have been a safer bet instead of a normal weekday in the
Hague). The set was OK, the live version of "Stars" I did like a lot.
This is Juan from Madrid Spain.. Dubstar played here last Saturday and I
managed to chat with the band before and after the show. I very much enjoyed
the show.. I find the fact that Sarah does not dance or move onstage adds to
the emotional atmosphere. She later told me she behaves in that way just
because she's shy! All in all she was very sweet and kind to me, as were Chris
and Steve. I hope to see them play live again some time soon.
