rogues' gallery

As you can see, there's not much here yet cos this page has only just arrived (15/7/97). The plan is that I'll plant out here details of any dubstar fans who would like to be included. If you'd like to be on here, then send me an e-mail containing the following information. All sections are, of course, optional.. just tell me as much or as little as you like. To start the ball rolling my own entry is below.

1. Name
2. Where you live (town, country)
3. How you discovered Dubstar
4. Interesting Dubstar experience (gigs you've been to, meeting the band etc)
5. Occupation (job / student - what you study / other!)
6. Other musical interests/activites
7. What else you do with your life
8. E-mail address
9. URL for your homepage, if you have one
10. A photo, if you have one scanned (you can send this as an attachment to a message, but please make it a separate message and send me a warning message first)
11. Anything else you want to tell us.

Also if you want to send me your postal address I'll start compiling a database which may or may not get used for some kind of Dubstar activity in the future (it will NOT be publicised and will NOT be used for any other purpose)

Please be patient - this will take a while to set up!

Dubstar discovery story...
Since Dubstar were originally based in Newcastle they received a lot of attention in the local press in the early days. I decided I liked the sound of them and on the strength of what I'd read went out and bought the Anywhere single, which had just been released. I was hooked instantly!
Interesting dubstar experiences...
Met the band at the opening of the new HMV in Newcastle to try and get an interview for the page. Steve had just got himself onto the net and said he'd been looking at my page already and that he was impressed.. Steve's been feeding me info for the page ever since, as well as being a perfect gent and pandering to my requests to visit their Newcastle studio! Other interesting Dubstar experience... waiting at the stage door before Erasure's Tiny Tour gig at Manchester. Sarah turned up and stood chatting to me for ten minutes while a gaggle of Erasure fans looked on without the faintest idea of who she was!
My life...
I'm a frustrated pop star working for British Steel as an engineer.. I programme synths, write songs, used to gig in Newcastle until the band parted, contributed several tracks to a couple of Erasure tribute tapes. Also like (obviously) Erasure, The Cardigans, Sarah Cracknell, Rachmaninov..
