Mansell Construction Services is to be your club’s main sponsor for the next two years. We’d like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and explain a little about what we do and how we hope to support your club.
About us
Robert Mansell set up business as a builder locally in Croydon in 1908. Our Head Office, Roman House, still occupies the same site and will be the focus for our centenary celebrations next year. From small beginnings, the company has grown into a nationwide business offering construction and construction services through a network of over 20 regional offices from the north of Scotland down to the South West of England.
What we do
Although we’re now a large company with some 2,500 employees, in each region we’re very much part of the local community. In fact, we often describe our work as "constructing communities" – creating buildings that support people’s daily lives such as schools, colleges, health centres and affordable housing schemes.
In London and the South East, for example, we’re currently building a facility for children with special needs in Chessington, refurbishing wards at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the new Stephen Lawrence Centre in Lewisham.
Other special skills include carefully restoring historic buildings such as Fulham Palace and the National Gallery, carrying out work in complex environments like BT exchanges and working on airports in a way that doesn’t disrupt airlines or passengers.
A message from Hayes Cricket Club
We are absolutely delighted to have secured the support of a major sponsor and that they are a locally based company. We hope that our relationship will be a
mutually beneficial one and we very much look forward
to working with Mansell and moving Hayes (Kent)
Cricket Club even further forward this year.
With so many changes happening this season, it’s a
very exciting time to be at Hayes and we’re pleased that Mansell will be here to share this with us.

Why we are sponsoring Hayes Cricket Club
We’ve been part of the local community for many years, as have you for an even longer period of time. With our 100 year anniversary on the horizon, it seemed right to support a local organisation and its activities. We believe many will gain from the benefits of additional sporting opportunity.
You will probably have seen our logo on new equipment around the club and on your new shirts. But we hope our involvement will go further than these practical things. As a local employer we offer varied and exciting careers in a range of managerial, technical and support roles. So whether you are young or not quite so young as you used to be, and whether you like working outside or in the office, there might be something for you at Mansell!
I hope that together we’ll enjoy successful seasons in 2007 and beyond.
