1982-1990 MINERAL EXPLORATION CONSULTANT, Ennex International PLC, Dublin, Ireland

My work during this time was predominantly in Scotland, where an exploration programme which I designed and directed resulted in the discovery of the Cononish Deposit (750,000 tons grading 8g/t Au) and the recognition of Scotland as a precious metal province. I was subsequently responsible for ore reserve and feasibility study at Cononish.

I was retained by Ennex to generate new prospects in Scotland and to evaluate mining and exploration submissions on their behalf, including critical reviews of Ennex’s exploration programmes in Nevada and Ireland and mining property appraisals in Spain and Greece.

1980-1982 CLUFF MINERAL EXPLORATION LTD., London, England.

As Senior Geologist I was responsible for the Company's exploration activities in Britain and Ireland, including Project generation and the. implementation and supervision of exploration programmes for base and precious metals, industrial minerals and coal.

This work identified a number of significant and potentially economic mineral occurrences but was terminated for corporate reasons.

1970-1980 NORTHGATE EXPLORATION LTD., and associated companies, Toronto, Canada.

1974-1980 As Senior Geologist I was responsible for designing and implementing the Company's exploration programmes in Eastern Canada, this included:

Uranium exploration in Carboniferous sandstone in the Deer Lake area of Newfoundland, and in Grenville-aged gneisses in Labrador and Quebec, involving 20 field staff.

Gold and base metal exploration in Abitibi volcanics of Ontario.

1970-1974 As regional geologist I was responsible for implementing an exploration programme for carbonate-hosted base metals in the Carboniferous of Ireland. This programme resulted in the discovery of the Tatestown zinc-lead deposit.

1969-1970 SELECTION TRUST LTD., London, England

As Junior Geologist I worked on the feasibility study of the Sar Cheshmeh porphyry copper deposit, Iran.
