Roger Hubbard (guitars and mandolin), Liam Genockey (drums) and Colin Gibson (bass) have played together for many years together; they are Buick 6 arguably the best blues band the south of England has seen.
Louis Turpin (guitar and vocals) has played with all three and regularly performs with Roger as a duo. Here we have Louis powerful voice and guitar style with the semi-acoustic national Resonator guitar played by internationally acclaimed slide guitarist and vocalist Roger Hubbard. "Hubbard's guitar playing, straight picking and bottleneck is highly sophisticated but consistently effortless and musical, so that his latest record could be good textbook for other blues guitarists". - Rolling Stone magazine.
Roger is also a fine mandolin player. Liam Genocky one of the most exciting drummers around is well known for performing with Paul Brady, Gerry Rafferty, John Martin, Steeleye Span and Buick 6. Colin Gibson on bass guitar has been on the road with Ginger Baker's Airforce, also gigging and recording with Snafu, Skip Bifferty, Alvin Lee, John Mark and Johnny Almond, and Lee "Scratch" Perry and has had TV appearances with Van Morrison.
