after the storm
no one sweeps leaves
the sound of hammering

the blind woman
in a posture of listening
gingko nuts rain down

over the moon
the old bridge
soars tonight

ants release
leaves one by one
as battle commences

spring
crows nod
ready

water drips
hang tightly
to the icicles

found kitten
father smiles
sighs inwardly
