Should you wish to contact the

with this Web

email: Mar.5 (postponed from Oct.30
1964). 'Flying Saucers, Are They Fact or Fiction?' by Tom
Dutton. Notwithstanding claims by our enemies
that ASTRA is 'just a UFO society', this was the first of
four - count 'em, FOUR - meetings that the society has held
on UFO's in its entire history. Tom Dutton believed in
UFO's, and he believed the society should be reoriented to
investigating them. This was strongly opposed by Oscar,
Sandy Glover and myself, and was defeated when put to a
vote. To our regret, Tom then resigned from the
Presidency. May 6. AGM. Sandy Glover
elected President, Oscar Vice-Pres., Margaret continued
Secretary. Mr. Carnegie stood down as Treasurer and I
replaced him as Custodian of the Envelope. Oct.11. Sandy Glover,
'Spaceflight, Waste or Wisdom?' Nov. 4. Barry Spink,
'Applications of Electronics in Rocket Guidance'.
