NASA is deeply committed to spreading the unique knowledge that flows from its areonautics and space research, and thanks to this commitment it has produced one of the Net's premier sites. Indeed, during the Mars Pathfinder mission of 1997 the site notched up a world record number of hits, and so it's not exactly an underground secret. This popularity is due not only to the sheer expansiveness of the site, but to it's ability to use the potential of the Net to the full. It's not every day you get a live Net feed from another planet. In the near future, you will be able to download the latest imagery from the Hubble Space Telescope, read about recent uses of NASA-developed technology by private industry, or view the latest microgravity science experiment underway aboard the planned International Space Station.
