Danny Kane   Bottom of Page Danny Kane (Vice-P resident) joined the Airdrie branch in the 1980's and is particularly interested in amateur astronomy and rocketry: He organises ASTRA participation in events such as the annual International Rocket Weekend in Largs. Danny is a driving force in local Rocketry Events and is ASTRA's 'official' Launch Controller. As Vice President he is Mailing Officer. In August 1997, as recognition for his work on various projects connected with Airdrie Public Observatory, Airdrie Branch members persuaded Danny to accept the position of 'Assistant Curatorship' of Airdrie Public Observatory.     Danny Kane to the Right with Lorna Napier to the Left      -o0o-     Top of Page Previous Member Next Member
