rejoined ASTRA recently after a period when he had not been
involved with the society. During the late 1970's to the mid
1980's Robert was very involved with ASTRA activities,
during which time he was a Curator at Airdrie
Public Observatory. Currently Robert
lists his interests as the Space Shuttle, the International
Space Station, deep space exploration, as well as lunar and
planetary observing. Robert is currently a
member of staff at the Coats Observatory in
