Page please email: The April 1987 Spacereport carried
our obituary for Alex English of Coatbridge, who had joined
ASTRA during the Halley's Comet Watch at Airdrie Observatory
and became a member of the Astronomy Committee. As a
chemical engineer he had a deep interest in the technical
side of ASTRA, and made several contributions to the
Waverider research project. He was survived by his wife and
