Below are a few 'Snap Shots' of the 'fun' involved in launching Aquajets - water, water and yet more water.

The Aquajet, already fuelled, is prepared for launch.
Before the Aquajet is launched a last visual inspection is made.
Finally the launch.

The Aquajet leaves the launcher very quickly
The launch man is left watching the Aquajet in a mist of water.

Danny Kane - who is ASTRA's Launch Team Leader - is seen here launching Aquajets during one of the Aquajet Competitions:

The Aquajet under pressure
The Initial Stage of the launch
Notice the change in the 'exhausted' water

The Aquajet soon reaches near it's maximum speed.
All that's left is a rather wet launch man

And another view of launching Aquajets:

The Aquajet under pressure
The Initial Stage of the launch

Notice the change in the 'exhausted' water
The Aquajet is now nearing it's maximum speed.
All that's left is a rather wet launch man
