allows): Boating Computing Hill Walking Photography Skiing Space flight Wildlife I often try to combine several of my
hobbies/interests. Some of the more recent 'events'
include: A visit to a 'ringing' of young
Barnowls within the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, The ringing
is carryout and organised by the Forrestry Commision. The
young Barn Owls are very easy to handle and do not seem to
be affected by their experience. A number of photo's
recording the event are shown below. Image 1 - The group are shown
some of the 'basic points' for identifying young Barn
Owls. Image 2 - Two barn Owl eggs
which have not hatched - these eggs would be destroyed by
the Forresry Commision Staff to avoid them from getting into
collectors hands. Images 3 and 4 - The young
Barn Owls are not unhappy at being handled, indeed they
'sit' and seem to be quite happy to wait until everything
has been completed. Image 5 - Diane has a dream
come true and is allowed to hold a young Barn Owl for a
short period of time. My interest with Astronomy and Space
Flight have a focus within ASTRA, more of which maybe found
at the following locations: Most of the photo's included within
these sites have been taken by yours truely - trying out
various aspects of photography. Some of my other photographs some a
