1: connect 2 ch IBVA to G3 + Blue/White

2: install Romulus extension.
3: need to run "Romulus-Remus Tool" by
MegaWolf, then select
the port(s) , then select "Utilities" -> "Advanced Port Settings.."

4: restart computer
5: run IBVA application, in the Edit

6: power on bothtransmitter.
7: then you can see 2 ch display. you
can set to coherence mode,
or select OpenGL FFT mode, etc.
8: quite IBVA application. SW off for
two transmitter.
9: once install Romulus extension, you
can repeat from No.5

connect two USB Serial Adapter to two USB port. ( can not

use USB 2/4-port Hub )
connect two IBVA receiver to USB Serial Adapter.
2: install USB Serial Adapter extension
3: restart computer
4: run IBVA application, in the Edit menu, select "2 ch mode",
select ch 1 & select ch 2.
select "Use USB port", then select "Active port(s) ON".
5: power on both transmitter.
6: then you can see 2 ch display. you can set to coherence mode,
or select OpenGL FFT mode, etc.
7: quite IBVA application, then both USB Serial Adapter shows
green LED ON/OFF. SW off for two transmitter.
8: once install USB Serial Adapter extension, you can repeat
from No.4

for long time coherence recording, need to use modified
version 2 ch IBVA transmitter.
Because of depend on two transmitters quartz accuracy.
to get good coherence for long time is not easy to use 2 ch ibva.
it's effect by many different condition.
left - right brain condition, electrode -skin contact condition,
amplifier filter phase sift effect ( in 0..60 Hz ), radio transmission
condition,
software condition for get data from deferent serial/USB hardware
port.
specially two transmitter's quartz accuracy is problem
for long time coherence calculation. 2 transmitter has deferent quartz
accuracy. this cause
left right brain wave synchronization err.
get good long time coherence dataneed to customize two
transmitter's
clock circuit.
relative
coherence display mode
can
eliminate this kind of problem. it's good for use for art, performance,
etc.
for scientific research that use coherence need to use special
system configuration with modified version 2 ch IBVA transmitter.
cut
CH 1
transmitter's print circuit line that is SG-10,
19.2KHz
number 2 pin out to 4040 CLK in No 10 pin, then
connect 4040 CLK in
No 10 pin to CH 2 transmitter's SG-10, 19.2KHz number 2 pin out.
no need to cut for CH 2 transmitter. use one 10
cm wire for connect clock, and two 10 cm wire for connect
ground and power . This makes clock from CH 2 to CH 1,
both
circuit works with same clock, then ok to use long time coherence
experiment.

low,
mid and some time high.
following display 1, 2 & 3 sample shows that
differences.
this case use 10 Hz test oscillator. can see coherence in coherence

wall also.

correct.
Display 4 is use modified IBVA. always shows correct coherence
information.

standard IBVA display (QD display mode) and other
is
OpenGL display mode.
for OpenGL display mode need to use high speed Mac.
actually
internal function is mixed up with Quick Drew way and
OpenGL way. specially like user event handling is very deferent for
both,
that may cause serial data miss record. so i decide to get serial data
as QD way, and OpenGL is for real time display. so, in case you like to
get good recording, then no user interaction is recommended.
Once open OpenGL then can not access
old display and menu
function
until select QD window. one of the reason i did this for keep two
deferent mode as safety way.
