releases the fist version of it's GUIOS, Windows 1.01, dveloped by ASC
II and NEC. *

Nishi was a Vice
President of
both ASC II and Microsoft USA at that time, so the research got
channeled
to Microsoft USA. Of interest is that the 1 st Windows machine was from
Japan, not from IBM. ASC II corporation working to make worlds first
Windows
computer for NEC, as it was show in the TNT movie "PIRATES
of SILICON VALLEY", June 1999 in USA, which showed every day for
one
week.
I remember
that system structure was
very
similar as Macintosh when I tested Windows alpha version in 1986 at ASC
II Laboratory Inc.
