The Stonehenge Crop Circles Pattern - 7th July 1997.

The information which follows has been supplied by C.P.R.I (Circles Phenomenon Research International ). This organization was formed in 1983 by Colin Andrews, the world's leading authority on the phenomena. Colin co-authored the international best selling book "Circular Evidence' published during 1989, which was instrumental in placing this mystery before the public.

He flew from his head office in Connecticut, USA, to investigate this amazing pattern. C.P.R.I are running the largest data base in the world on this subject and have not received a bigger challenge then huge crop circle array which appeared around 6.0 PM on the sunny day of the 7 th July, 1996.

A light aircraft pilot, Mr. Rodney Taylar was flying a passenger over Stonehenge at 5.30 PM, they looked down from the aircraft as they flew round the area on their return to Thruxton, near Andover, Hampshire. Both men are certain the very large patter was not in the wheat file at this time. Just 45 minutes later, at 6.15 PM the passenger from his aircraft dove his car past the henge on the major highway (A303) and saw the circles in the field with people already stopping to look at them.

Colin Andrews flew over the formation with the permission of the top secret air esrablishment of Boscome Down the following day to begin the investigation - this beautiful photograph was taken by him as he gathered research data before the public entered the field. His research has revealed that the security officers at Stonehenge did not witness anything unusual in the field that day. Wiltshire and Hampshire police headquarters have searched their computer record for that day and both confirm that nothing unusual was reported before 6.15 PM. The Ministry of Defense at the top secret Boscome Down air base, control the air space above the field and Stonehenge, they too have told C.P.R.I. that nothing was seen by radar or by thier own military pilots before the 45 minute time period in question. Therefore at the moment of preparing this report the very brief construction period of 45 minutes appears to be the casea. This agrees with numerous eye witness reports around the world of people who claim have witness the crop circle forming - they all talk of a rapid construction period of less than 15 second.
