Poster for the 'Dad's Army' Stage Play
(Shaftsbury Theatre).
Click on this image to see a larger version.

Dad's Army was transferred to the stage for a successful run that lasted from 1975 to 1976. The 'play' consisted of a mixture of sketches, based on scenes from the TV series, and musical numbers. The main run of the play took place at the 'Shaftesbury Theatre' in London's West End.

The show ran at the Shaftesbury for six months and then went on tour around the country for a further six months.

On this page you will find details of the cast and production team that brought the show to life. You will also find links to scans of the original Shaftesbury Theatre programme and poster. All the pages in the programme have been included but not all contain details of the Stage Show! The full programme has been included for those who might be interested to see the whole item, which includes contemporary adverts and details of other theatre shows.
