1. ANNOUNCEMENTS

THIS MONTH'S WOBBLY WEBSITE
This month's (and my final) wobbly website is AskMe (http://www.askme.com). This site (some of you have probably already heard of it) allows you to ask 'experts' questions on loads of topics and sign up as an expert yourself if you're sufficiently good at something. You can find me as 24 millionth in the list (or something like that) for Mathematics and Computer Hardware, amongst others.

IMPERIUM ON-LINE
After a somewhat extended period of BETA testing, Imperium: the home of the Galactic Empire is now on-line. Come and have a look if you're interested in what the future might (probably won't) look like ;-). (Since this site uses DHTML, ASP and SQL you are strongly advised to use the latest version of Internet Explorer to view the pages).

WEBRING HAND-OVER
The new homepage for the webring will be at site http://www.smidge-tech.co.uk/webring though for the mean time the old site will remain operational. The shortcut links zap.to/mtsring and mtsring.cjb.net will be remain unchanged. Everyone will soon receive an update containing everything they need to know and a new HTML fragment. (And yes, this is supposed to be this size.)

Adam Szmigin

WEBRING HAND-OVER 2
It seems that it is time for me to take my leave of MTS, something that I never really thought would happen. As of 1st July Adam Szmigin is now the Ringmaster of the webring, and I have stepped aside. In its first year of operation the webring grew at an infinite rate, in percentage terms, and it remains to be seen whether Adam can keep this up :-). I hope that everyone on the ring enjoys their holiday and has a great year from September. As for me, in the words of Futurama's Zap Branagan: "I forsee an all out tactical dogfight - followed by a light dinner."
