1. ANNOUNCEMENTS - NEW RINGMASTER

THIS MONTH'S WOBBLY WEBSITE
This month's wobbly website is www.alladvantage.com who actually seem to pay you a (very) small amount for just browsing the web. They stick a little advert window at the bottom of the screen which you just ignore and let the money (well, coppers) flow in (I actually clocked up £4.50 this month). In fact, I wouldn't recommend it if you haven't got a 17" monitor. (And if anyone does want to sign up if you could put in my membership number as a referral ID - ONZ-367 - then I'd be, if not eternally, then at least a little grateful).

NEW RINGMASTER
I received several applications for the position of Ringmaster, all of which were of a very high standard. Choosing between them was definitely not easy however, once I had taken into account all the criteria, there was one application that stood up above the rest

I have therefore decided to make Adam Szmigin the new Ringmaster. Adam will take over at the end of this month and I'm sure he will want to contact you all soon afterwards to explain the small house-keeping modifications that will be necessary for this transition to take place.

However, for the next month I am still the Ringmaster and so any immediate queries should still be addressed to me personally or by e-mail to ringmaster@ridex.co.uk. Of course, if anyone wants to discuss anything with a somewhat longer time-scale involved you might want to contact Adam directly.

Congratulations, Adam.

I AM KNOWN ONLY AS THE MASTER...
Yep, I'm the new webring master. Wahey!

First of, seriously, I want your suggestions as to what changes you would like (or not like) to the webring as it stands. Current hot ideas are:

  • User-friendly webring site handling system, maybe with Shockwave.
  • Webring exchange banners.
  • Webring login id's and online user areas.
Send me suggestions (smidge@smidge-tech.co.uk).

Thanx. And most of all... respect me.

Adam Szmigin
