First Bolan experience: Alas, I never saw Marc when he was alive, but I still remember hearing "Get It On" the first time on the local classic rock station in San Diego in 1988 and thinking to myself, "Hey, this is mighty fine!"

What would you like to tell the world about Marc Bolan: All that stuff about how only _Electric Warrior_ is essential? Lies and slander. Not every album is consistently great, but so many of them are just too amazing to ignore.
