First Bolan experience: I first heard Ride a White Swan on the Swedish radio in 1970. I recorded the song on my cassette recorder and it was clearly Marc's voice and the absence of drums that attracted me. When Hot Love came out a few months later I was sold. I had to go out and get the single (in pic sleeve). Seeing the faces of Marc and Mickey added even more mystic to the music, especially the B-side King of the Mountain Cometh. After that my pocket money went to Get it On, the T.Rex album, Electric Warrior, Beard of Stars... and the rest is history. The first time I saw Marc on TV was "Music in the Round" in 1972 or 73, when it it was shown on Swedish TV. There were no video-recorders around at that time but I recorded it all on my cassette recorder. I first saw Marc live on his last ever live concert. This was in Stockholm on the 24th of May 1977. It was an outdoor concert and the sound quality was bad but still it was Marc. I still regret that I didn't bring a tape recorder. Have some nice photos though. Well, needless to say, I'm still there. I get hooked every time he sings to me like a friend.

What would you like to tell the world about Marc Bolan: It's all about charisma and Marc had it. Many so called stars of yesterday and today sell millions of more records but only a few of them will be called STARS in the year 2016. I'm sure Marc will then still be mentioned as one of the great stars of the late 20th century, just like Rudolph Valentino is one of the few remembered silent-movie stars. Not for his films but for his charisma and the genuine star-quality.
