First Bolan experience: I first heard Marc Bolan at a friend's house in 1970. She had just bought "A Beard of Stars" because she was intrigued by the cover. The first time we heard it we were dumbfounded. Nothing so beautiful and alien had crashed our reality until then. We quickly found "Unicorn" and then import versions of "My People Were Fair" and "Prophets, Seers and Sages". After that we were pretty much Bolan fanatics. I remember being bowled over by the poster/cover shot on the "T. Rex" album when it came out...and then, the music! Anyway, I've collected Marc's music ever since and have amassed over 100 lps and 12" singles, many from other countries. Also several boots including the boxed set "A History" put out by fans soon after his death. I have hunted down and own several picture sleeve singles and EPs from the Fly Records period, as well..

What would you like to tell the world about Marc Bolan: .I miss Marc and would love to hear his opinion of today's music, much of which would not have ever been conceived without his groundbreaking vision.
