Red Dwarf

Being an American I didn't discover the fantastic U.K. Sci-Fi comedy Red Dwarf until it was already 3 years old. You will only find it (in the States) on Public Broadcast Stations... It is well worth the search!

Let me see if I can give you a brief synopsis of the show as told in the first episode.

Three million years from earth this is the mining ship Red Dwarf. It's crew: Dave Lister, the last human being alive, Arnold Rimmer, (a hologram of his Lister's dead bunkmate), and a creature who evolved from the ship's cat! Message ends.

Additional: Alone in the empty wastes of space, the inhabitants of the Red Dwarf struggle against knowing they are alone in a Godless Universe and out of Shake & Vac!

This may seem a little odd - and it is - but therein lie all the laughs!
