Motion Picture Equipment Catalogues 1900-1910

This CD contains four rare early motion picture equipment catalogs from the silent movie period.
1). Pathé Frères Cinema Ltd. (London, c.1910).
English catalogue featuring Pathe's wide range of 35mm projectors, printers and cameras. 54 pages. This catalogue was saved form a flooded cellar just in time, and apart from some wrinkles has survived intact.
2) Pathé Frères Cinématographes (Paris, 1909)
French catalogue featuring Pathe's wide range of 35mm projectors, printers and cameras; including the "Pathé Lumière" projectors, and illustrations of their studio and factory. Approx 80 printed pages. Some [pages are arraged vertically. We have provided additional horizontal versions of these pages in a separate file
3) Charles Urban Trading Company (London, 1906)
English catalogue packed full of Urban's 35mm film making and film exhibition equipment, including the world-famous "Bioscope" cameras and projectors. 68 pages.
4) Biokam (Warwick Trading Co. Ltd.) (London, 1900). High Resolution...or...Medium Resolution.
The Biokam 17.5mm camera / printer / projector was the world's first commercially successful home movie film system. This charming promotional catalogue (printed in red and green, and reproduced here in colour) includes details of the entire range of Biokam equipment, and a considerable amount of text explaining the importance of the new "Animated Photographs". 32 pages.
