NEENA

Neena believes in the third eye, in that sensitive certainty that spells intensity, the regard for detail so essential for a photographer's success. Neena's interest in photography stems from a childhood love of aesthetics. Over a period of time, this interest was enhanced and developed, spilling over into different fields. The significance of the thrid eye involves a concentration on composition, detail and clarity. Joining the ranks of professional photographers about a year ago, Neena has an impressive array of courses under her belt, including a concentrated study on digital imaging, portraiture, commercial photography and courses at boston University and Massachusetts College of Arts.

At present Neena is involved in a three sided venture, she works with Nabila and concentrates on both fashion shoots and portraiture. " I don't limit myself " says Neena, feeling that a good photographer shouldn't restrict oneself to a particular kind of subject. " Fashion photography os restricted, because of the kind of society we operate in, there is alot of creative work that is not done beacuse of censorship."

As far as individuals in the fashion scene are concerned, Neena feels that the models are very professional, again as far as creativity is concerned that gets somewhat diluted for to be fully reflected in the media, it needs to combat the hurdle of censorship. Neena finds pleasure in being able to transform an ordinary everyday face to face into something special, lookingfor and finding that certain mood that can make or break a person. " Photography, as far as portraiture is concerned has to do with moods."
