two years a fever raged killing many, including two of
the four School Sisters, as they were then called. It is
outstanding proof of the faith of the two remaining
Sisters that they continued, small and fragile but with a
tenacity and courage deeply rooted in Christ and
therefore destined to bear fruit. Père Chauvet could never have dreamt that from those humble beginnings would flourish a remarkable Congregation with thousands of members world wide known as the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres.
