In 1847 Sr. Geneviève Dupuis and one companion, Sr. Marie Joseph Sapiens sailed for England and set up a little school in Banbury. Thus begins our chapter of the story and the foundation of the Sisters of Charity of St. Paul the Apostle. Under the wise and courageous leadership of Mother Geneviève Dupuis the Congregation developed and expanded. A woman of great faith, hard work, endurance, personal charm and simplicity, she radiated a true spirit of charity. |
