Horary chart judgements – Fee: £50.00 per question

A written (usually via e-mail) or verbal report of approximately one hour’s duration is provided giving an analysis of the question and its answer. This is rarely more than a page or two in length and is sometimes less.

Consultations require nothing more than a specific question relating to yourself. It should be honestly and simply put and should have importance for you. These charts have nothing to do with your birth details; instead they take their data from the asking of specific questions. These might be about job opportunities, marriage, romance, business ventures or lost and missing objects and people. In birth charts the data relates to the birth of a human being, with horary we deal with another kind of birth, that of an idea or venture or problem. It isn't always possible to know just when an idea or problem begins, so the horary practitioner will take the moment when the question is clearly put to him or her. This assumes that the client, in this case the querent, has thought about the matter for some time resulting in an "important moment". In cases of extreme urgency – the loss of a person, pet or object – there is usually no time to lose, but in these cases careful thought is not a requirement since the important moment presents itself in one of these unfortunate ways.

While astrology, particularly horary astrology, can provide remarkable results the astrologer is usually neither psychic nor clairvoyant. Coming to any kind of conclusion is hard work and is the result of long years of study and practice.

There are occasions when technical considerations prohibit the reading of a horary chart, in those instances, no fee will be applied.

Private Tuition – Fee: £40.00 per hour

This can be undertaken by e-mail, telephone or, where feasible, in person and will reflect your needs and current level of study. Time is allocated by appointment only. Students may share these sessions, but no more than four students are permitted in any one session. For practising horary astrologers, an advanced programme can be constructed.

Sessions can be single, occasional, or regular.

Private Classes – Fee: £10.00 per hour per student

Private classes can be arranged with a minimum number of five students. As with private tuition, the syllabus can be organised to suit the needs of the class. For practising horary astrologers, an advanced programme can be constructed.

Sessions can be single, occasional, or regular.

Lectures, workshops, seminars – Fee: by negotiation.

A range of topics relating to the horary art can be arranged according to the requirements and level of experience of your group or organisation.

Lectures

Example lecture topics are shown below, but if you have specific areas of interest Sue Ward will try to accommodate them.

Workshops

Workshops give you the opportunity of hands-on practice with real charts in an informal atmosphere. Sue Ward can provide broadly-based tuition for all levels, or more challenging material for those with experience.

All workshops can be held in your local area for half or full days, or for longer periods, if required. A minimum of six people attending each session is usual.

Example Horary Programmes:

  • Unravelling the horary chart: using the mind’s eye;
  • An introduction to horary: entering the chart;
  • Sample and practice horary charts: practical demonstrations;
  • Your own horaries: where you have been unable to form a correct judgement.

Example Natal Programme:

  • What the traditional method can offer;
  • How to "find" the native in the chart;
  • Tools of the traditional method;
  • Finding the basic character;
  • Sample and practice charts;
  • Your own nativities, summing you up in one planet;
  • The fundamentals: the planets, houses, signs, aspects, etc..
